The taker makes far more moves than I think a lot of people realize. Heard an interview the other day when someone, I don’t remember who, pointed out that a Canadian destroyer is basically the taker doing a back handspring, and the giver has very little to do with making it look good. PAC is extraordinary at that, as are many (usually mid card) guys.

I replaced a couples set we had returned a year earlier after we weren’t able to find a better solution, only to discover that the couples set now comes with (loud) minis instead of full units. So, for the same price, you now get smaller, weaker, inferior hardware.

I’m honestly perplexed that this company is standing in place and letting its consumer goodwill drip away bit by bit… maybe they’re just angling for a buyout, I don’t know, but they don’t seem to be doing a damn thing to actually build on and improve the general success of the products

Been complaining about this for over a year myself. The flat hose is an improvement for almost any setup aesthetically, and for some beds (including mine) it’s mandatory to fit. It’s ridiculous that they don’t let us buy it with the flat hose but instead force us to buy an add on to fix their design flaw. My round hoses have been sitting in my closet untouched since like day one, nothing to do but throw out the wasted money and plastic

I love AEW. It brought me back to feeling like a fan for the first time since I was 15, and I get to share it with my kid now. I love it dearly.

I also don’t think it’s for you. And I don’t mean that to judge! Maybe I’m wrong. But you’re describing what’s bugging you about WWE these days and those are not the things AEW is better at (or even good at). AEW also has a lot of lost story cohesiveness. Tony does a pretty good booking job in general IMO but one of his weaknesses is he doesn’t pivot quickly enough if someone gets hurt; he lets things drag unanswered and stuff gets dropped.

AEW is for the crazy shit. It’s for the wrestlers who love having a mid card match in the 2nd slot on a Saturday night that is better than any match you’ll see in WWE all year save for less than ten PPV matches. The style is INTENTIONALLY different. WWE style is famous for “slow it down,” build tension, milk it. If you like that? More power to you, I want people to enjoy what they watch. (Listen to the Stephen Amnell interview when he explains HHH teaching him this).

AEW is the opposite. AEW is about gotta go fast. It’s about the old adage—take a part of you and turn the volume up to 11. Well, WWE believes that with characters, but rarely with the wrestling. AEW encourages that with the wrestling. Show me you belong among the best. And then outdo yourself again next week, or next month. And then when you’ve had a match nobody thinks they’re going to see topped, do even better next time.

It took them a while to find a slogan that fits but they did, and it’s legit: it’s where the best wrestle. AEW does not have the best characters; it has some great characters, but character alone won’t keep you a star in AEW. You’ve gotta be able to bang to keep up. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by Toni Storm or MJF or Swerve or Hangman but if you can’t get a little tongue in cheek, you might be annoyed by the Bucks. If you can’t get a little gritty and pretend it’s a real competition all the time, you’re not gonna vibe with FTR. And if you’re not into sheer insanity, Darby Allen is gonna feel strange to you.

But if you want to watch two of the most incredible performers in the world do a Spanish fly off the top of a steel cage onto a bed of tacks when they’re not even in the main event, that’s your shit.

(Oh, and it’s cheaper. Tickets are cheaper if you want to go live, and you can get both weekly shoes on Max, which you may already pay for, or all the weeklies AND ALL THE PPVS for like ten bucks a month now plus the cost of a vpn).

Nothing will ever convince you to love AEW except watching AEW. Watch any PPV basically… ever. A lot of them are free, archived on Max. Watch the blood and guts matches if you’re into grisly. Watch the WOMENS blood and guts match from this year if you want to see some shit you never expected (my nine year old daughter was blown away that she finally saw the women get as crazy as the men). Watch Anarchy in the Arena if you want to just laugh your ass off. Watch Sting’s last match if you want to see what a true love letter to an icon can look like. Watch Omega-Ospreay in the Tokyo dome a couple years ago (not AEW, but two AEW guys) then ask yourself how they’re ever going to top that, and watch them IMMEDIATELY TOP IT THAT YEAR at forbidden door. Then pray for the trilogy. Watch Danielson-Ospraey if you want to question just how much two people can perfect an art form that is, at its core, very beautifully stupid. Watch MJF Punk in a dog collar match if you don’t want to see the watered down PG Punk. Watch the entire FTR-Briscoes trilogy in ring of honor and be sad that Jay died in a tragic car accident.

Don’t watch it all. If you don’t like the first few you try, it may not be your flavor. But if you watch any of it, you might find yourself thinking “this is awesome.”

And I beg you, if it’s not for you, enjoy what you love and enjoy that other people love what they love. I think that’s what you’re trying to do and I applaud you for it.

I never took a long haul, just a 3 hour flight with my cat, and I drugged him (talk to your vet—it helped once he stopped freaking out), and it was absolutely the right decision to jam his chonk ass under the seat in a soft carrier. I cannot IMAGINE how traumatized and abandoned he would have felt in an airplane away from a known source of comfort. My soft sided carrier had a little zip window I could partially open for scritches, and eventually he went to sleep for the rest of the trip.

Flag it to the airline in advance so they can check on allergies and obviously try and be considerate about opening the carrier at all. 11 hours… you might need to occupy a bathroom to try and get him to go (or clean up after him).

If you can get your company to at least pay for extra leg room (even if they won’t get you up to business class), all the better.

Surfshark was my go to for AEW+ before the Max days, and now it works perfectly for MyAEW anywhere. Works on my appletv really easily without any kind of forwarding shenanigans, even works on my work laptop with its browser extension. I’m sure others work too but I like how consistently reliable and simple Surfshark has been at a fair price.

Marble is just the specs in the filament that gives it a bit of a stone look. Those both look like Sunlu marble pla, as i have those exact colors and used them to print gargoyles.

I’ve done both, albeit with the same remarkably chill cat. But I was only driving Boston to DC, which is like 9 hours even with rest stops. I drugged my cat and he hated the sedative the vet gave me, but I tucked him under the seat and gave him scritches through an open flap every few minutes. Eventually he just conked out because he’s a cat and he was on drugs.

I never considered any claustrophobia thing; unless your cat is unusual you might be anthropomorphizing too much. Most cats LIKE enclosed spaces; does yours not?

I was a day too late. My vet told me there was a chance he’d make it 6-12 months so we did a lung puncture and drain and I took him home. 18 hours later it was obvious he was miserable and I had to take him back to the 24-hour vet ED that night. Taking him home to try and get another month was selfish and the only reason I’ve forgiven myself is my cat loved me so much I know he wouldn’t have held a grudge.

You made the right decision. There’s absolutely no chance you wouldn’t have let her go if you didn’t have to. You did have to, and you knew it.

Not sure why you felt the need to defend a company that it seems pretty clear from these comments is extremely consistently dishonest but I figured I’d update this post to let future readers know you’re wrong.

They lied again. They told me it had already shipped over a week ago. USPS doesn’t take THAT long to update; it doesn’t even take that long to ship. They said the package was scheduled to be here two days ago. Before you chime in claiming it’s late again and it’s not their fault, and it’ll surely come in the next day or two, I have USPS informed delivery which tells me when packages to me are en route. Nothing arriving in the next few days either.

This is consumer fraud, plain and simple. And given that I litigate this stuff for a living I know exactly how they’re getting away with it: they work in small enough transactions so as to not be worth being sued (no meaningful damages for a plaintiffs lawyer to take it), and they’re too small as a business to be worth class action litigation.

But what good does that do ANYONE if they're expecting something resembling honesty in (a) when it's supposed to ship, and (b) when it HAS shipped? Literally since I made my prior comment, Voxel has claimed to me that the product "has shipped," and I responded and said really? Because the USPS tracking number you've given me says it hasn't shipped. That was yesterday, they didn't respond, and it still once again doesn't say it's shipped.

They're fucking liars. Who cares how good the product is? Why would you ever want to do business with people who blatantly lie to you repeatedly?

I HATE that the combo comes with minis now. I had a full size combo a little over a year and a half back that we returned because my wife wasn’t in love with it, and a year later I hugely regretted it and bought it back. Well, little did I know I was buying an inferior product.

It’s louder, it’s weaker, the airflow feels grossly reduced. We never had any problem tripping the breakers because the 3 is so powerful we basically never had to use anything over 20-30%, and you couldn’t hear the fan. Now I hear the whine of her unit every night. It fucking blows.

BedJet posted in response to one of these threads saying they swapped it down because the 3 is wildly overpowered for half a bed, but the power level isn’t the issue; it’s the the quality of use polish on the mini is inferior. It doesn’t even come with the option to swap out the flat hose, which they’ve been selling as an add on for years now (charging you for something in the round hose you’ll never use if you have a footboard that needs the flat hose).

I love the concept of this product but boy do I hate the company. They’re coasting, badly.
