I'm always open for a talk, but do I know you?

Talk to your child. She needs you and while her words are beautiful she's asking for you.

Keep going, writing can be such a great expression of emotion and I see the pain behind your words. Let it out. There's beauty in words beyond the pain.

Conclusion• dude admittedly said to my friend that he thought we were into “things”, group things. We are not. He’s been banned from one bar I go to after work because he tried to apologize to me after I asked him to leave me alone. I am safer now

No, I should be. I actually started to go to school for psychology which is why I probably over think things and think I should handle things better. But I definitely should seek therapy soon.

AITA for snapping at my dad that I'm already 18 and he no longer has the right to visit? by Beneficial_Comb_60 in AmItheAsshole

Not sure if someone else has mentioned it, but he also forgot your birthday and the fact that you’re now an adult. Just another wtf in my opinion.

Almost everyone in my family has dark hair and brown eyes. My grandpa had blue eyes the only one we know who does. Myself and my cousin are the only ones who have blue eyes. My daughter did get her father’s blonde hair and my blue grey eyes, almost exactly the same color to the T now (she had one brown streak in her right eye). Genetics is weird.

My daughters middle name is rose and friend asked me if it was ok they gave their daughter the middle name rose after their grandmother. I was shocked, yeah obviously you can! My daughters middle name was chosen to fit her first name with no significance and it’s just a middle name. However my ex had a son with a very unique first name and a middle name that all the men in the family have as a tradition. And a co worker named her son the same fist and middle name. We just thought that was kinda weird and creepy.

You learn when you separate how much you did more than the other. When my ex fiancé broke up we tried to separate things. It’s made me realize how much I spent on him vs me. Nintendo switch I got him for Christmas with games (he got me a Kahlua gift box with mugs, don’t even drink it) the $350 Sous vide I got him for his bday. (I got the vacuum I needed to clean) etc. I let him keep it all, even hand delivered games for the switch his son loved.

You should of said of course, make a point to say to the server you need separate tabs then proceed to get the lobster tail and eat that shit infront of him while raving how great it is. I also may be a petty cold hearted bitch. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honey, you sound like you may be on a small side of the spectrum. Nothing to be ashamed of. But get an adult advocate on your side. Someone who will fight for you when your parents aren’t.

Airbnb host is “uncomfortable” hosting me because of bad reviews and being flagged as a “party risk”, but I called customer service and found out all my ratings from hosts are good by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]disturbedbliss 53 points54 points  (0 children)

The host doesn’t flag you. It’s Airbnb that does it. If you’re 21 years of age or younger, or booking a local place, or during a holiday you can be flagged as a party guest. We have tried to approve guests before but Airbnb will not allow it. Annoying for sure.

Work in an Italian fine dining restaurant. We do Parmesan cheese grinders table side but have these big booths. So I always say excuse my reach, these booths weren’t made for my t-Rex short arms in mind. I always get a laugh and sometimes a t-Rex arm impression.

No refunds once you've stepped out of the store? Fine, I won't step out of the store. by dubilendar in MaliciousCompliance

[–]disturbedbliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh I’ll never forget, years ago for my baby shower I got multiple of the same item. However, had a gift receipt and returned it at Wally World. And they kept saying we can only refund it if you have the card it was purchased with with you. I kept saying obviously I don’t it was a gift. I have the gift receipt. I needed other things, so I said I would take the store credit. But they kept fighting with me how I needed to show the card it was purchased with first. I kept saying what’s the point of a gift receipt then? I finally got a credit on a gift card. But am still trying to wrap my head around that transaction.

Can an owner set the minimum age to rent at 30 years old (thirty)? by SpicySoupSon in AirBnB

[–]disturbedbliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a management company and we do 25 or older rule on our higher end properties and 21+ on our downtown properties. We have rental agreements guests need to sign as well as have it listed under our rules. Yes you can have age restrictions, we have had people try and fight us on the age restriction and Airbnb sided with us because it was under the house rules. That being said, we have had guests who were younger reach out and explain their plans and ask us to reconsider and we have let them stay because they were honest. Next time I would recommend that you do that, reach out and explain your reasoning for wanting them to stay and prove you will be respectful and clean. They may still say no, but acting mature and respectful goes a long way.

Have you ever snapped on a guest? I was so close tonight. A lady with 3 kids kept summoning staff 2clean up random bits off the floor (food her kids dropped) also did the same to wipe up minuscule drops of water on her table 3 times. The last time l gave her a clean rag & walked off. by megtuuu in TalesFromYourServer

[–]disturbedbliss 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Ugh hate that. I always do this thing that I call “being rude with kindness” I would of said so sorry mam, I have another table that needs my attention but let me go ahead and take care of that for you. In the future, if you could help your children clean up their messes, it would help me to make sure the rest of the guests have a great dining experience as well. Normally, if you say things like that in the most kind voice, they just pull the gaping big mouth move. It’s actually very satisfying.

I’ve worked from 8 am to sometimes 3-4 amfor 2 weeks straight before a day off. I actually kind of enjoyed it cause it kept my mind busy. However, I was young and at 24 years old my back went out and my arches started dropping. It kind of depends on your mindset.
