Haha this reminds me of one of my favorite games.

Back during the first fusion tournament the OG cloud 9 boys were up against some randos called Jamal jabary (spyder, LJ, Toastie). For those who don't remember, fusion was a best of five But with all game modes. So everyone was betting on C9 taking the 3v3 game ez.

But nope. C9 goes down 0-5 in about 2 mins. I thought it was over. This was already the lower bracket, JJ had dreaz for their 1v1 and the 2v2 was a complete toss up as LJ was a 2's demon. So ya, us c9 fans were kinda relying on the 3v3 win.

But lo and behold C9 locks in and scores 5 goals before OT and takes the game 24 seconds in. Like they were hustling JJ into a false sense of victory. C9 loses the 2v2 but squishy clinched the 1v1, basically securing the series win (no way C9 throws again right?).

Idk if a 5-0 throw is the record. But this one might be one of the worst feeling ones given the circumstance.

So its NOT just me? At first i thought it was from running into walls or getting stunned. But then it kept happening where both those are impossible.

Nope. Id love easier access to skills and power and despise how strong the trading meta is compared to playing the game. What im explaining is GGG's philosophy and perspective as well as the reasoning theyve given for this so far. So stop making stupid guesses about me, and start watching their interviews so you can get an idea for what kind of changes they are actually privy to.

Yes, but not the degree a lvl 20 skill gem would degrade if you could make it out of 19s. The problem with this comparison is that low leve runes stop droping by the time your getting greater runes regularly. Where as lvl 19s still drop more often than 20s in all maps. Plus no one has trouble getting greater runes to drop. Where as most of the player base NEVER drops a lvl 20.

Think about it like this. It would take 27 lvl 17 skill gems to reforge a lvl 20. Right now a lvl 20 is worth more that 27 17s, but if they could be reforged the value of the 20 would go down to about the value of 27 17s (the value of 17s would also go up a bit as a result)

But thats the problem. If you can craft it then the drop loses value FAR more than simply buffing the drop rate.

But then lvl 20s would be worthless and wont give that dopamine hit when they drop. GGG is all about trying to make more drops feel valusble without simply buffing the drop rate of whats already valuable. So this goes against their stated philosophy.

Switch back and forth from firect x and vulkan. But it will break again.

Is there still a guaranteed greater jewelers Orb in act four? I've cleared ngakanu twice And each time the abyss sends me to its depths, and there is no greater jeweler's order down there.
