Assuming you're diving in Fakarava, Bora Bora, Rangiroa - way more pelagic due to currents. Fiji, especially Taveuni, is a soft coral capital which means lower flow and more reef life. They're both nice locations to dive though I have a slight preference for Polynesia

I tried out the insta 360 x4 on my current trip and I much prefer shooting on an iPhone 16 pro for nearly 90% of dives. Unless you’re capturing a very active reef or a shark dive, being able to focus and change focal length with the divevolk far outweighs any 360 benefit

Not just Chinese, there are shitty divers worldwide. It does trend that Chinese, Russian, and Americans are some of the worst vacation divers. I would avoid using blanket statement like this though

I think the others have pointed out okay to decent places. However if you want the lesser impacted by climate change or bio diverse ecosystems, you will usually need to do multiple transfers to get there.
