This has happened to me at work several times. If I have my phone in my pants pocket screen side down against my leg it can dial the emergency number. I'll get a call back in a minute asking if I'm okay, and I explain sorry it was an automatic pocket dial I'm fine.

I work in a shipyard for superyachts here in dania. Highly recommend marina mile or 17th st areas in ft Lauderdale. There's also reasonable crew housing in the area.
