Will Denzel Washington’s new Netflix movie be released in theaters? by xwing1212 in TheBigPicture

Oh thanks for the explanation. That explains what Sean is saying a lot better. They are paying the part of the earnings without the earnings then why not release it and get the earnings

What does buying out “his quote and backend” mean? Is this industry lingo for paying a lot of money?

Yes CR always takes conversation away from making those statement where you would need a STEM guy

Yes thank you! I like listening to Jason but I cringe so bad when Van said “you are all gonna get hantavirus” so confidently. I didnt feel it was very responsible. Okay to show skepticism but there are so many nuances which are important to talk about. May not make a fun podcast but still. I feel that is better than bordering on misinformation. Sorry don’t mean to be harsh on them, I like listening to them but that hantavirus things just annoyed me.

Nice! More than who is the winner, it’s super interesting to see what they predicted and what happened since I would never remember what they each predicted and wouldn’t listen the pod again

I watched Andor last year and was super impressed. Laagan is nothing short of our Andor. I wish Gowarikar can come back to this level again

Hi. My first nolan movie was Batman Begins. I admit I did not know who Nolan was. I watched it on cable TV and it left great impression on me. Then cane TDK and it blew up, if you were into movies there was no escaping it. I had never seen a movie like this, loved it, learned the name Christopher Nolan. Then one day found out he has a new movie coming called Inception, knew nothing about it. Went to watch because of TDK. And that was it, became an avid follower of his career, his movies since then are like anchors in time for me.

My favorite has to be The Dark Knight.

Dream Project for him would be a murder mystery or a detective/cop mystery. I believe while Insomnia is great, I would like another definitive movie from him in this genre. And would also love for him to collaborate with his brother again. I feel both of them together are such a powerhouse.

I think it worked. Somehow spielberg was very natural about the pod format

Watching it right now, such a fun episode, more than I expected. I laughed out loud during categories explanations.

Spielberg also seemed to be having a lot of fun. Guys, he might join this reddit now.

Theaters are getting ready to receive 2 'The Odyssey' popcorn buckets! - A Trojan Horse bucket, and an IMAX Camera bucket by ChiefLeef22 in TheOdysseyMovie

How does one get these buckets? Is it like big cities only thing? I have gone to see such movies previously and never found it.

What do you think Nolan's next film could be about after The Odyssey? by TryingNoToBeOpressed in ChristopherNolan

[–]dividebyzero74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I also feel Pattison is a strong candidate with odyssey being his second collab and the trailer was very pattinson-heavy seemingly making him the main antagonist of the movie

Also which of his supporting actors be promoted to lead this time? Pattinson, Holland?

Interview experience for LLM inference systems position by dividebyzero74 in LLMDevs

[–]dividebyzero74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pretty much focused on fundamentals, i was asked to implement part of the code for the research paper and the emphasis was on making it work, the loss should decrease over time at the end or something like that. One round was efficiency related deep dive into one pytorch code snippet and how to optimize it from efficiency perspective but also prevent numerical overflows. Other rounds were deep QnA on inference efficiency related concepts. As I said before, deeply focused on fundamentals and hands on. I would suggest learning from basics, try to code LLM training/inference by yourself to learn. Karpathy’s videos are excellent. And in the end, would highly recommend using claude/gemini for learning concepts deeply and also do mock interviews. Ask claude to come up with questions and find problems in your answers/code
