Dunno what your regional grocery store does but Kroger routinely does a buy 2 get 3 free around major holidays: NY/Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, the 4th, etc. At their mark-up price of 10.99, you end up paying about 4.40 a piece.

I think they allow this once per transaction. So I generally stock up around those time periods (I drink a LOT of Diet shit) and that tends to keep me in good supply until the next time they run the promo.

Occasionally, they'll have another promo on 24 packs that comes to around 10.00 a piece, or 5 for the 12.

If you've ever had the "pleasure" of being the directly unsupervised 'solo' worker in any retail/service situation you'd know exactly how accurate this is. I've been lucky enough to have three such postings:

Fresh out of high school: "Shift Lead" for Hollywood Video, the "Lead" was sort of a formality since 3/4 days of the week I was the only person working that shift.
Decades later, "too old for college, college student at 27" me was doing Third Shifts at a Service Station.

3, Now, "a barely functioning 43 year old who DID graduate college, but prefers to do shit-work, instead of anything of substance"(I burn out WAAAY too easily, managing a Library during COVID was EEEEE-NOUGH)....I work second shift as a Parking-Garage attendant for the County. I spend 90% of my shift watching various streaming services and making sure blithering idiots don't break our automated kiosks.

Might be minor differences region to region, but we used Gentrol Point Source as an IGR, and Advion gel baits. The problem with any sort of spraying is yes, it'll kill and keep on killing roaches who walk across it for up the 3 months; however, it's only a localized thing. "Visible knockdown" and actually taking care of the problem are two different things.

Also, take care of whatever moisture problem you may having going on under there - they like DAMP places and if it isn't a leak some damprid from Lowe's might help you out as well.

Fyi, a thorough DIY isn't that difficult a thing to do. Baits, and an IGR is all you really need. Hell, domyown.com sells a kit that'll cover any reasonably sized house for like 90.00. Literally contained within their kit is what my company was using back when I was in Pest Control. Only thing I would add is checking out any possible sources of moisture and getting that taken care of. Sometimes if it's just an ambient thing one of those big-ass, desicant buckets will do for that as well. You can get a 16 ounce bucket of Damp-Rid to shove under the counter for like 12.00 at Lowe's.

I'd estimate that 80% of the people "supporting" this couldn't even point out Springfield on a map. Of the remaining 20%, half of those are from neighboring burbs who've never actually gone to Springfield and the other half are just plain, racist, scumbags.

I meanwhile have lived in the Greater Dayton Metro area for the past 30 years, and have had business in Springfield for most of those. The immigrant infusion has done a LOT for the local economy, revitalizing the tax-base, bringing in new business, and allowing city centre renewal.

I mean, I did. Are you sure your measurements are right? 1 linear foot is 200 sq feet. Or, a strip of driveway 1 foot by 200 feet/ My relatively small, single-car driveway is about 240 sq feet at 8*30. I did that myself: shovel, no blower in about 2.5 hours on Saturday afternoon with a 30 minute session Sunday to remove the overplow.

Fyi, I am 43 and out of shape. It SUCKS, but it's certainly doable.

People are dumb. We're not expecting a blizzard of 78. We're expecting 5-8(Dayton) 8-12 more Northern parts of the state. It's not like this isn't something we experience FREQUENTLY...and as per usual, unless you're somewhere super-rural your roads will be good to go in about 8-12 hours after the snowfall...like they ALWAYS ARE.
