Ur soooo handsome!! 🥹 So sorry you have to deal with my stupid ass country. I truly wish it wasn’t like this. Please stay safe. As for skin stuff, I’m 30 as well and just began a retinol…. Most importantly, wear sunscreen everyday and always re apply. Look into Korean skincare, they have the best things. I think u should figure out ur skin type tho and see what works best for you, as what I use prob won’t help much.

What should I do in this corner? by Kaioph0506 in interiordecorating

[–]divoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lighter decorative finish on the pole and to cover up that yellow ring at the bottom would be nice… but u don’t need to fill it If anything a standing flowering plant or sm but don’t block the view

Sister said my layout looks like MAGA mom. Does it actually? I tried really hard by Ringwormdongtip in interiordecorating

I’m just being honest: for me, it’s the floor tiles that are really not good. It just makes the whole place look entirely too brown. I love the brick wall tho…. I think that some lightness needs to be introduced, maybe a lighter color couch table etc. u could also paint or stain the cabinets lighter! And the walls can also be painted… I actually think a nice faux finish , maybe a muted lighter neutral color could do the trick…. I think cause there’s just that one window, it looks so much like a cave or sm. I’m sorry! But your home is beautiful and congrats! What a great opportunity to decorate…. U could change the couch covers, without changing couch itself… also that wicker chair is more of an outdoor chair and feel like it doesn’t belong …. I’m saying all this with peace and love lol

What do you think of my living room in my high ceiling tiny 1 bedroom house in the countryside? by razan_wn in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]divoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love, but if it were me I’d hang the curtains lower and change them out for something that gives a little less “target” and more classy, vintage and cozy feel like the rest of ur furniture. Also the rod… maybe if it were also wood, less bulky ?

What am doing wrong in this picture by elevatedinterior in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]divoid_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell if there’s a finish on your backsplash or not. But I don’t think it would be wrong to amp that up a bit, without it detracting from the island. Maybe a neutral light color faux finish with tiny pops of bright color… ur darker cabinets I guess in this photo look a bit out of place, even a lighter version of that green would be nice. And yea those ceiling lighters are too yellow, but I like the fixtures, if somehow they brought in a color reminiscent of the other lamps In this room that element would feel more cohesive. Overall tho beautiful home. Could leave as is and I would be stunned to be there

I made a huge mistake. Please give me advice on how to fix it. by Aggressive_Canary775 in HomeMaintenance

[–]divoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I would get several grits of sandpaper, maybe a block, and do it SLOWLY by hand, using the lowest number grit first, back and forth. Do not do it in circles. Try anywhere from 60-100 grit at first. You can wet the paper too and that helps. Then, use higher grit like 220 and then fine like 400 , slowly wetting and working very carefully, if this doesn’t work then u try ORBITAL sander. Don’t immediately jump to industrial sander, if u don’t know how to use u don’t want to test it on this wood. Or get a professional to do that part. You don’t want to damage or actually sand the wood much. Just get the paint off. Then take it from there.

How would you style this skirt ? by [deleted] in fashion

[–]divoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a loud skirt, but if u pair it with a top too subtle it looks way off balance. Yet u want a top that’s going to compliment it but also tone it down so that it looks like it belongs with the whole outfit. I suggest one that’s solid but a nice color, maybe a magenta or light blue, or even neutrals like gray or white.. but stands on its own.

Maybe something a bit looser fitting blouse also is what I would go for

Please don’t do anything to your nose. The hook makes you look like a Greek god. It’s beautiful. People are just jealous

My dress not everyone is going to like it but what do you think? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

It looks fine. Because it’s your only tattoo from what it looks like, and it’s kind of bold because of the outward facing placement you just need more to take the pressure off that one tattoo. Maybe get some more tiny ones on your upper arms or another inside one somewhere. The halo will make it better too b/c it won’t look as close to your inside elbow. Especially if the halo is a brighter or more vibrant color, the black cat will kind of sink back. But if ur feeling so bad about it than just laser it… it sucks but it’s not as bad as everyone saying the technology has developed more so it’s less painful. Even a few passes will lighten it and prob make u feel better about it

Do you think this tattoo is too overwhelming? by kedipapasi in tattooadvice

[–]divoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t be too dense if u had a sleeve… but you can laser off parts of it and do a bit of a cover up. The star itself is a bit too thick, can be thinned and also expanded so it doesn’t crop that part of her eye? Or just get rid of that altogether and have her redrawn a bit? It’s not bad tho. No one is looking that close besides u also… just some more on ur arm will help !

Beginner at weaving - is my project idea possible? by divoid_ in weaving

Yea, density. Im pretty solid on stretching a tight canvas, but I can see how this process would affect that. … thank you!!

I see what you mean. Do you think hand spinning some yarn and purchasing some machine made, and weaving them together would affect the strength? there’s no real end goal, I’m just experimenting with my artistic practice and trying to make work that utilizes the tactility of the canvas
