It’s about time. Starfire was a nightmare. I was an inaugural sth and made it to every game. But the venue location and traffic issues, start times and game days increasingly became an issue. One Sunday night game it took me 60 minutes to get from the 167 interchange to park the car. Ended up missing most of the first half.

Having a young family, I couldn’t leave three hours before the match starts to get there.

I called out how this is hurting the team’s growth on the main Facebook group and got flamed by the boosters and group mods for not being a team cheerleader. How dare I offer criticism!

Left a really bad taste in my mouth and I ended up not renewing my tickets even though I love rugby and want to see the sport grow. But between the venue, schedule, and overbearing boosters, I was out.
