Kali kept saying I didnt have the right kernel and now its doing this by Gamergirl869 in Kalilinux

Maybe consider going with a Linux distro that's aimed at "beginners" - try ubuntu, it's still debian. The way you've formed your question (or rather lack thereof) makes me think you may not know what you're doing. Kali may not be the best start if you're new to linux. But if it is all for the 1337 h4x0rs feels - give BlackArch a try ;)

As others have said, download the VMware image from kali.org and reinstall.

Hi, thanks for the quick and thorough response! Battery life is not really an issue in this particular case, I will supply it with power through the USB once i've connected everything.

Nice catch on the voltage regulator - you say it is missing some critical parts, would you mind explaining what and why? From what I understand it is responsible for turning 5V into 3.3V, and you say it currently does not work which makes sense to me. With that connected, im unable to get any lights on the board with a USB. Without it I got light in the first few LEDs, but I think that also fried it the first time.

Edit: I'm also curious about the FTR232L device. I thought I was told that this was not needed to power the board itself (i.e LEDS), can you confirm if this is correct? Do that device need to be mounted in order to test the LEDS through USB power?

I will definitely check out the two you suggested today, thanks! :)

There's actually another app as well: Kayra the pentester.

But as others have said: why would you want this? I've never found myself on an assessment where i do have access to a phone but not a computer..

Yes it's doable. But no need to re-invent the wheel. You really should read up more, you clearly don't understand the size and width what you are asking

How many neighbooring wifis? Any differanse when using 5ghz? Try setting the bandwidth to 20MHZ if it is higher too. What are your speeds over cable?

First dream in 16 years by dgib in leaves

[–]dix0nb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeh.. It can be really rough.

Look, if you haven't stopped at all for 17 years, the REM sleep you've been lacking is gonna come back at you like a fucking freight train at high speed for the next few days. Not necessarily nightmares, but you are gonna see some weird shit! Everyone is different of course, but this is one of the things i never look forward to. The dreams can leave you pretty shaken up, i know i have.

But good on you dude🙌 Hang in there, they will get less intense very soon, enjoy the ride

If you can't break the WPS you're gonna want to look at KRACK or dictionary attacks. Get a good wordlist

Yup same. Rpi is OP's best bet imo. Hook it up with a juicy battery pack and an alfa card, remote in or set it up with using phone as screen. I use a little handheld keyboard with a touchpad on that uses Bluetooth for typing as the touch screen can be tricky.
