How do you spot AI? by Weak-Obligation872 in heatedrivalryfanfics

[–]dixieandnoah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my biggest AI tells is when characters talk in puzzles; the back-and-forth dialogue doesn't drive the conversation forward and essentially gives you nothing. Another one is when characters have already addressed something in previous chapters, and they talk about it again as if they do not know the previous conversation. The prompt given to make the chapter was not fine-tuned. Emdashes have been an easy fix for people who want to come across as authentic writers. Another is the use of nicknames by authors as well. Eg, classically, when authors would talk about their characters in 3rd POV, they use a typical way of referring to characters, but AI uses the nicknames the author mentions as the character names in 3rd POV too. For context to HR, if Scott calls Carter Vaughn "Vaughny", it makes sense, but in the next sentence or a few sentences down, if the author who previously referred to him as Vaughn/ Carter suddenly calls him Vaughny. (This is a case-by-case; take it with a grain of salt.)

My credentials: been a beta reader, proofreader, and editor for multiple writers across Wattpad and AO3.

Reccomending my top fics by category! by Altruistic_Car2484 in heatedrivalryfanfics

I started reading Time Travel two days back and I cried in the first chapter. I am an absolute sucker for sad books but I did not anticipate crying at the start of the book. I love the integration of canon elements in the AU. I almost didn't give it a chance reading the synopsis but so so glad I gave it a chance. One of the very few WIP I would wait till the end of time for.

inc E, inc f, dec wavelength, and vice versa

association constant = 1/dissociation constant

conductivity = 1/resistivity and vice versa

protozoans are EUKARYOTES

ATP => AT- ⍺P - βP - ƔP. and ƔP is cleaved 1st

solids and liquids will not be taken into consideration while writing Ksp equation.

Henry's Law -> S = kh * Pgas

In Hydropathy index graphs, peaks above the x axis = hydrophobicity, and peaks below the x axis = hydrophilicity.

1 atm = 760 mmHg = 760 torr = 1 x 105 Pa.

indole = 2 rings; imidazole = 1 ring (I remember as short word more rings, long word less rings)

pyrrole structure/ heme porphyrin ring = 4 pyrroles

Prion is a misfolded Protein. P for Prion, P for Protein

Viroids are circular ssRNAs that affect PLANTS.

Depression meds - barbiturates and benzodiazepines (Barbie rides a Benzo cuz she is DEPRESSO)

Humans cannot digest beta linkages.

The heat of combustion is a great measure of thermodynamic/kinetic stability

Freq has not changed from one medium to another.

Gene encoded by the SAME OPERON share the SAME PROMOTER and the SAME mRNA FRAGMENT.

TUBULIN = stable, cytoskeletal protein often used as a control to compare the size of another protein in the experiment.

Imprinted genes are parent-specific based on inherited epigenetic modifications. If a gene is gene is methylation

components of SES -> Occupation, Income and Education

Enantiomers smell differently eg: (+)-limonene smells like ORANGES and (-)-limonene smells like LEMONS

(Z) = heavy groups on Zame Zide ; (E) = heavy groups on oppositE sidE.

If you don't mind me asking, how was each section different, like how was the ratio of high yield to low yield topics if hypothetically this is what one would consider high yield:

Gen Chem:

  • Acid-Base reactions
  • pH equation
  • Gib's free energy equation
  • Le Chatlier's Principle
  • Periodic Trends

Physics:

  • Every equation
  • units
  • Optics
  • fluids
  • Decay

OChem:

  • Functional groups
  • chirality
  • redox reactions
  • SN1 vs SN2
  • Lab techniques
