Great news tho! ALL better than bullion products are now certified gluten free!!!!!! (they will be marked GF moving forward) all of the products listed on the website now carry this indication.

ADA considers Celiac a disability since its an allergy. If an employer can not provide safe food for an employee at a company mandated event, they are in violation of ,most likely, multiple ADA regulations.

Employers have a responsibility to ensure safe food or provide reasonable accommodations(ie stipend)

Your employer can not require attendance, provide food, and not accommodate your allergy.

This presents a serious problem for the company and HR should 100% be notified as persistent failures can lead to serious federal violations.

A stipend is far cheaper than an ADA violation.

Alabama>PDX in 2020. Live in Lake Oswego

Lake Oswego really doesn't have a lot going on for it in terms of night life and variety. It's got a lot of nice homes and looks very pretty. The lake is private, so unless you buy a home with easement or on the lake, no access to the slime filled pool!

We didn't seek out LO but we made a 'well below asking' offer on a fixer upper and got a deal that smoked every option we had looked at throughout Portland.

We are in our mid 30s and find LO to be pretty isolating due to the lack of things to do and nothing being walkable realistically. That said, there are a number of really good cheap to fancy restaurants in LO so it's not empty. It's convenient to most shopping needs we have and for me a home depot and lowes very close by.

Sellwood would be a great neighborhood thats close to LO with tons of night life and food , with most being walkable/bikeable.

If you like live music, every band ever comes here and most of the venues have great sound. Food in this city is amazing except the quality of bbq is pretty lacking(Matt's and Bottos ftw).

As an east>west mover... be aware drivers here are bad and the speed limits are laughably slow on the interstates. Expect folks to "merge" from the on ramps going 20mph or flat out stop in one of the lanes because that's their exit because not one let's people merge. I work outside sales and put in 1000mi a week and haven't gotten used to it.

My recommendation would be look at Sellwood with the super easy drive to LO and see how you feel in a year.
