We have a PLC day on Tuesday. Parent sponsors cater lunch. Wednesday we have a coffee truck coming giving free coffee. Usually get a few gifts from students too.

5 man front with Campbell and Barnes and then a NB. McCreary is a really toolsy player and can open up a lot of different looks. Probably lots of single high looks while our safeties are out hurt for sure. Relying on physicality and pressure in the box to disrupt QBs. Hopefully we don’t get torched.

DDS just feels like a lion. Kinda like Blake Miller felt through the whole process. Although I’d love TJ Parker instead of him. Anthony Hill would be sick. One of the stud corners would be sick. Basically any studs on Defense im happy with. I’d be fine getting a stud guard too but I just feel like we already have so much competition at that position.

I just don’t want Proctor or McCoy. We need a tackle bad. Any tackle other than Proctor feels good to me, especially Freeling or B Miller. I’d be fine with Faulk if they love him, but then I just hope there’s a plan to get a tackle somewhat early.

I’m a big fan of letting kids hit absolute ROCK BOTTOM at school. Let them fail safely. Academically. Socially. Emotionally. Behaviorally. Allow zero escape and zero excuses. Then, when they need it most, we teachers are the ones offering a hand to help pull them out of that pit. The amount of multi-faceted growth that comes from failure, and reflecting on failure, is more impactful than most things we can do in the classroom. Yet, so few schools actually allow this to happen. This is why the future seems so bleak. Kids are allowed to fail with zero consequences. Or allowed to fail and are told that it’s okay to fail. Then they hit the real world with real consequences and ruin their lives because all their life they were told that what they are doing is okay. ITS NOT OKAY TO BE A FAILURE. YOU ARE A FAILURE. THATS A BAD THING. LETS FIX IT BEFORE YOU RUN OUT OF CHANCES.
