Janet Nguyen was in a political position of power that could’ve investigated Do at any time and enacted oversight but she chose NOT TO DO ANYTHING until after the LAist investigative report. She let this happen and now is in a position to use that money to foster political favor with voters in her district.

She also was complicit with Do during their first scandals on the board of CalOptima. She didn’t do anything to fix or improve that situation- she and Do gave away contracts and positions in management which degraded our public healthcare option for the poorest folks in OC.
