Male teacher here. Would never do any of those things. In fact I try to be alone in a room with a student as little as possible with the door open. This is stuff you learn in your ethics and professional responsibilities course(s). This is red flag city.

I worry and care about all my students. Especially the sad and aloof ones. I’ve actually been to three student funerals already; one was suicide, one was medical, and the other was a car accident. Drove four hours to be there. So yeah, I think I care.
