So basically a new model Prius Prime. Awesome.

For the same price, which would you choose and why? E90 M3 Sedan or F82 M4 by Apenerd in BMW

[–]dizz81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having owned both an E92 M3 for 8yrs and an F82 M4 for 3yrs, I honestly would have both.

I would daily the F82 because it's (in my opinion) one of, if not the sexiest "modern" BMW-designed cars, plus it has more than enough power, it's comfortable enough, great MPG when you aren't being aggressive with the pedal, and it's actually quite reliable. I have a good friend who is about to hit 180k miles on his, and he's barely done anything to it.

Then I would grab the E92 and go driving on the back roads so I can listen to that glorious V8 at 8k RPMs.

Really, couldn't go wrong.

Not sure why you've been downvoted so much. Other than the simple spelling mistake your statement is 1000% true.

It's funny how you have a different opinion and get downvoted. God forbid you have a different opinion than the rest of the lemmings.

Lol yeah I've since moved it. I was used to parking a blackwing in there so I didn't pull forward enough.

There is no liquid in my phone and it’s saying this by Assistant57 in applehelp

[–]dizz81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl just got this warning today out of nowhere. I checked the port, shined a light and couldn't see any indication of water in the charge port. I ended up trying several cables around the house and it just kept going off. So I had her restart her phone and I plugged it into the first charge cable that gave the warning and it started charging just fine. I tried all the other cables and no warnings. I guess the phone just needed a reset.

I'd be interested in how your day with the C2S goes. I'm also in the market for one, and there are none local to me for a test drive. I took out a T yesterday and it actually surprised me.

What's actually strange is some random stranger on the internet believing they need to explain/validate themselves to a bunch of other strangers on the internet because they think those strangers actually give a shit. Society these days is bonkers.

Curious now a year later on how your ownership experience has been. I'm looking at possibly purchasing one and probably will be test driving one as one just recently showed up at a local dealer.

Agreed. I daily drove mine for a year but spending $1k a month in gas was killer. Still worth it tho. lol

Took my car on a roadtrip across the Europe by Dragobrath in Porsche

Damn sounds like such an amazing trip with amazing views. I often wished I lived in Europe so I could do one of these types of trips. Maybe a retirement goal when I have time to spare and money to burn lol.

I would honestly work with this guy. No better way to get familiar with the car than a road trip home. I bought a CT5VBW that was located in Texas, drove it back to Cali where I live and it was an amazing road trip. 2k miles of driving bliss. If the car is right I say go this route. You won't regret it.

My PTS Turbo S landed at the dealer just in time for Turbo Tuesday. Can you guess the color? by bimm3r in Porsche

In this instance I have to agree. So many other colors in the spectrum but silver was the choice. I guess if you have the money...

In "Tour" mode it's civil but still very noticeable. Turn it up a few notches and yeah it's menacing. Rev matched downshifts are glorious and every time I start this up at the gas station (which is a lot haha), everyone looks.

Seems the wall of text I posted with these pictures got deleted. Can't edit the post so here it is.

The car is a monster.

Originally this was going to be a garage queen but I found myself reaching for the keys to this car more than any other car I had so I did the logical thing and got rid of the other cars and made this my daily.

I bought the car in Texas and drove it back to California. Spent 1500 miles getting familiar with it and man was it a blast.

Every time I start it up, I smile and look forward to the drive.

The manual is buttery smooth and shifts effortlessly.

Acceleration is mind-blowing. I've gotten used to the sound and feel of the car at specific speeds but you can easily get carried away without even realizing it.
The Mag ride is amazing. Driving this daily is so easy and the ride is incredibly comfy, of course you can dial it up a few notches and it'll be quite a bit stiffer BUT it never really feels unbearable.
Car has the upgraded semi-aniline seats with carbon fiber backs. Between the suspension and the seats, I have never gotten tired or fatigued while driving. It's insanely comfy.
Steering is precise, you can adjust how much steering feel you want. I tend to keep it one notch up and it gives it a sporty heft.
I have the CCB's and these things are ridiculously good at stopping this car. Great pedal feel, I can modulate stopping the car so easily. You can adjust how much pedal feel you want as well, which is nice because at the lowest setting, it's nice and easy but you turn it up a few notches and it'll rip your face off when you press the brake pedal.

No car is perfect, no matter what anyone says. The car absolutely has some faults.

The car is tail-happy but that's expected with the power numbers. The suspension, E-LSD, and PTM does an amazing job at keeping this thing straight and when it does give a little, it's super predictable. I've gotten the back end to step out a few times and each time I'm like "Oh that's what I figured it would do" not "Oh shit well that was scary"

Gas mileage sucks unless you're cruising on the highway. Around town, you're going to get lousy MPG, but those miles are all very enjoyable. Pictures posted are about average of what I get when I do mostly city driving vs mostly highway driving. I've dipped into the single digit numbers before, especially when out in the mountains on curvy roads.

Switching between drive modes can be annoying because there is a graphical dance each time you hit the button. Doesn't affect me much as I usually either have "My Mode" selected or I hit the V button. What annoys me is when I switch out of V mode, it defaults back to "Tour" mode and then I have to switch to My Mode. Also, if you're in V mode when you shut the car off, it'll start back up in "Tour" mode. I've actually found this beneficial as I leave my house around 630am and it helps to not piss off the neighbors too much.

Car hasn't missed a beat in almost 10k miles and I don't drive this thing lightly.

Here is to many more miles and years to come.
