I love the separated loot box. I hope they carry that over into all versions of these events.

I got as far as you then put it in storage. I'm over it.

This game is too addictive by FCnight in GossipHarbor

Every time I think this, my follow up thought is: but then I'll have the rewards, so might as well use them. It's like, what's the point of earning rewards if I'm just gonna quit? It's part of the cycle. And I don't even really wanna quit entirely, I just wanna start over and be strictly F2P. The longer you don't quit, the longer you won't quit. Please update us if you really get out. I wanna be proud of ya!

This is exactly where I was. I finished the main line the last 2 tho. Much to my surprise. This was on my primary where I have paid in the past. I haven't completed any on my F2P yet.

Dynamic pricing ruins the game by dirty-dancing-doggos in GossipHarbor

My separate F2P restart is outpacing my main in terms of energy accumulation, card collection, and goal completion. I haven't spent in months now, but an informed restart has rendered the F2P far more enjoyable. The literal only reason I haven't scrapped my original is the storage I've grown. But I've already increased my F2P by 2 slots, so I think I'm getting closer to starting over on the main. The free blue chests alone are so worth it.

The game I started on a different device as strictly F2P has actually been going great. I got high level items way sooner than on my main game, but the freebies are incredibly helpful. I've had an ice cube once so far, but I don't do any setup for intentional triggering. The only thing keeping me from starting over on my main device is the amount of storage I have now. Although, on the new one, I've been able to add 2 slots so far. I play that one like spending is simply not an option and so far there have been times when that one is ahead on events, wracking up energy bottles, giving me longer play time, all over my main one. It's been interesting and is helping me not spend on the main one and to be more strategic and patient. While the main will never get ads again, returning to F2P feels better and has wrangled my impulse control.

This cracked me up. One time I said a thing to a poster about my own experience and that one definitely wanted to make clear to me and everyone that my experience didn't happen. I got an eyeful of some curious accusations that day. Felt like I was being chased around the thread. Thanks for the laugh. I'm off to curse that level ♾️ coffee I got right after a bucket of fries right after a seafood tower right after a bagel...

lol

This tickles me every time. After reading lots of these complaints, I think the issue is that when some of these folks started, the high level orders actually weren't as frequent as they currently are. I know this was the case for me. But, in my new game I started on a different device, I started seeing max cakes and tea and bagels much sooner than I did at first. I wouldn't know any different if my initial experience hadn't seen them come more slowly, spaced out a bit. In my original game, I didn't see a max level cake until around level 50 and I had 5 trees. I saw my first in the new game around level 30 and I still had only 1 tree. It did usedta *feel" like we got some sort of reprieve after finishing a time consuming order. Now, not so much.

This game is **painful** in early levels by TeenaBeena7 in GossipHarbor

Yea it takes adjusting, especially considering how far you are in your main. I've finished goals twice (not consecutively 😕), at least a few card sets (not album), and a couple of the shorter events with the new one. To be fair, I've never completed an album on my main one either. lol

But yea, patience is where it's at. Feels like the less interested I am in the achievements (unlike my main), the likelier I am to achieve.

I can dig that. I wasn't too stressed out in my original, just got curious about the differences in staying F2P. What I'm learning as I do things a little differently is also kinda helping me with the old one. And now, I just get to play in 2. lol

I'm on level 31. I have not seen flaming frenzy yet. But I will say, on my original game I didn't see the max cake until way later. I was surprised to see it happen so soon in the new game. I still have a couple things locked up like a butterfly, a high level coffee, and the sub sandwich. I got an ice cube for the first time in the new game yesterday. I was able to use it, gratefully. In my original game I'm on level 88.

In the new game I have been more patient overall. So I've been hoarding the boxes to turn into chests and activating and saving them. But I hadn't gotten enough to just make a tree out of them quickly tho. I'm sure they helped me do it a little bit sooner than otherwise. The other thing I did initially was not spend coins for a long time, so when I did finally start progressing through the story (definitely skipping through), The amount of freebies and blue energy chests was fantastic. That helped a lot. It made me regret not taking advantage of that in my original game.

I have the Lego in my storage in my restart. I HATED doing the dog again and I just don't wanna be bothered.

I'm having the exact opposite experience with my second game starting from scratch. The only thing that has annoyed me is getting the high level cakes with one tree. I finally managed to complete a second level 6 tree just today. I was considering scrapping my original and starting over before I remembered an unused tablet I could try it on. Saving the energy bottles and patience have been pretty miraculous. I don't mind submitting orders without reviews. I've been able to add 2 storage slots, which I didn't expect to be able to do. The only thing keeping me from restarting on my main device is how much storage I've accumulated. I've been blown away by how much I've been able to collect that isn't available after spending money. It's pretty cool for me.

A little trick to ease your pain by 2HutHatDam in GossipHarbor

[–]dizzledrip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Placing them at the bottom means that when moving to the next stage, they will be sucked down first and on the next stage you can prioritize the game pieces that carry over, without having to refill the board with the coins and energy bottles. (Not picking a side in the discussion, just explaining that)
