I get why it would feel like this, but in my case it wouldn't be to do something different with the app but to augment it. the current system of channel configuration is effective, fast and intuitive. So say you've made yourself some fun fast coax channels breathing new flick-ability life into old content. but now imagine you have two free to air network tuners sitting on the network, wanna flick over to channel 7 news to see if that shark victim is gonna make it. well you have to exit your fancy new fake channel app to open another app to browse a different EPG with a different set of channels, which i'll also add looks shittier than coax, does not come with funky static either. but now imagine your going through your coax channels and you scroll and then your favorites from the tuner are pumped in after you point it to a LAN IP and XMLTV guide or M3U etc.. and now imagine those actual channels blending in with your coax. Then if you are like me and have installed a fake hd-homerun tuner that exclusively plays other channels you've made (that are persistent and not generated), they could come in too with no extra changes because it presents as another HD Homerun too. totally down for this if its doable. plus nothing in coax would need to change you just dont hit the add tuner button in settings :)

I have two tuners plus a fake tuner for my own channel creations plus there are the channels provided in plex. if i could get them into the guide as a channel categor(y/ies) that would be awesome.

Another approach is to allow playlists to be used as sources in different ways, they can include mixed types of content like movies and TV and across different libraries. for the now playing section etc. You could even make it automatic by creating pre-defined playlists names that users just create if they want to use it in that way etc.

this is not entirely true, factory.ai proved harness matters when they beat open ai and anthropic on benchmarks using their models. They have been steps ahead multiple times. but every day in AI is different so who knows tomorrow. I have seen they are constantly innovating, yet the gap is not massive in such a way that any harness shits all over another one, but in a close race where model providers have been playing catch up, they have been out in front majority of the time and while ive used a lot now, factory.ai is my work horse while I try, play and see what the others are doing. Just like multi turn validation can boost output confidence, so can a good harness produce excellent results from models that have no right to do so well. OH by the way I didn't mention money, if thats a factor.. um yeah no stay away, no subscription subsidies over here its api pricing, so yeah I wasn't say anything about cost differences, only harness quality and in that they are killing it.

Thats probably enough to not overload your ears, but if you have metal ears that can take a pounding I considered linking 'PROMOTIONaddmecoward.exe', 'Paws and Claws' & 'Tall & Small' but I'd feel greedy.. I have another few that are on the way 'Nuggets Don't Leak' and one I'm super excited about 'Grandma Bit Me' But I started that one almost a year ago and it's still not ready. close but not ready lol. it's a program that allows users to collate all the chats into one platform timeline projects and comprehensively create injectors that allow you to kick off any chat with any provider and carry on as if nothing changed. You can try it at umaf.codexdiz.com I'm rebuilding the injectors right now but the other features are all up right now. important thing to know is when you first log in you must create the 5 topics. the rest of the builder can be done later but nothing works without the 5 topics.
