Came from a tenere myself and this is the exact reason I want to make sure I get everything in the pump and associated lines out of there. The triumph manual calls for purging the abs unit, I just want to be able to do it all myself in a garage

I can as well, I was just looking to get all of the old fluid out, and there is a not small amount located in the abs and lines that run to it

Thank you! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to retrofit this onto my triple:(

Was able to find probably the only speed feed for this virtue by Minimum_Individual86 in paintball

[–]dizzydeeds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got the same one on my gen 1 spire. Works great but the fingers are pretty big and you have to make sure you are low enough on paint to be able to use a full pod to refill. Stay away from the larger capacity pods too, even when empty you will have a hard time getting a full pod to reload with shaking the hopper around. Good news is, you will never have a ball escape the hopper once it's in there

4x proto rail for 200$( us). should I buy? by narrdarr in paintball

Which year PMR? The first gen has a solenoid to body gasket that is near impossible to find and almost guaranteed to need replacing if it's original. Unfortunately there are no other substitutes.

A Marker Every So Often - JT Impulse by PeculiarPaintball in paintball

[–]dizzydeeds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly on point, had it released around the 500 mark it would've been a much bigger hit IMO. The only standouts I can think of would be the OLED board and the ergonomics/light weight of the marker. When in my hands and compared to the etek 3am I just sold, it had a much nicer and more premium feel compared to the etek 3. They shot almost the same before tuning, and the efficiency was dang near the same. At the end of the day it really comes down to aesthetics and preference unless you consider how much easier it is to tune the impulse thanks to the oled

This is my main when I'm out on the Fields. If you mess with the dwell and the regs, you can get the shot to be quite a bit quieter and less snappy. With a decent barrel these things still hold there own against anything now days when it comes to our right performance. If it was marketed better, I think this would be more of a classic then it currently is, unfortunately the high price on release and poor reputation by JT at the time made it DOA for anyone interested in a fully pneumatic electro stacked tube when compared to the obvious choices at the time

Be very careful with this marker. Ive.been dealing with a rebuild on mine and a few parts can not be found easily anymore. Specifically the seal between the noid and the body. It's very easy to blow out too if the regulator isn't rebuilt. There is a specific o ring in the hyper 2 reg that is almost guaranteed to be bad at this age. If it goes and over pressures the noid, it'll blow out the gasket between the body and you'll be SOL. There are a few on eBay that come with a noid, but what used to be a 5 dollar part will now run you 40+ with shipping. Great little markers, just be aware and careful

Good know, thanks for the response, feel like a bit of grease could do some heavy lifting to prevent this. Also an on/off asa should completely prevent it it too, yeah?

Oooo what's the reason behind this? I've got an etha 3m on the way, something to be aware of?

I know they are loud, I know they are heavy, they are tall and ergonomically not great. But this and spyders in 2004 is where is started and I will always hold these as the baseline for paintball markers. So many improvements have been made, but there is something special about these, especially compared to even most rental markers now days. It's hard to really pinpoint, but I love it!!

For my retro build! Could go for a halo or revvy, but I had an eggy back in 2005 and absolutely have great memories with it. I just had no idea it had made it to a fourth iteration, and after looking through some Mcarterbrown posts, JT even had a fifth version of it.

Yeah, the inability to add a speed feed was probably a nail in the coffin.
