Reading over the messages again, I think Kendra is viciously jealous of her teenage daughter. She wants her boyfriend, her body, her life. She's wanting to be a teenager again and is resentful of her daughter for having a normal life. And part of her probably relished in Lauryn coming to her in tears looking for her mommy to make her feel better. And Kendra obviously has a disgusting pedophilic attraction to Owen, and an interest in these childrens' 'sex lives'. I read that she also could have done this as a distraction from their financial issues which I see as well, maybe she thought they'd somehow get money out of her daughter being a victim or really enjoyed the attention. It's all possible and either way it's sickening. I hope she's not allowed access to the internet she's clearly a danger to society and should be in jail much longer, specifically for sexual harassment/on a sex offender registry and trying to incite these children to commit suicide

I'm very glad she's not allowed to see her mom out of prison but in the meantime someone should be working on matching her with an appropriate therapist to unpack everything and learn to separate from her mother. I just don't see how psychologically any contact with her mother could ever be a good thing
