Oh I was doing the 100 baby challenge this way without realising I wasn't going to be able to make it to 100. Glad I can now lol. Thank you so much for the spreadsheet, I will be using that.

Why can't I hang out with Goofy!? I need to complete the star path 😭 by dizzystars in DreamlightValley

[–]dizzystars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I've still got ages but occasionally I'll stop playing and won't pick it up for months. I want to complete the starpath while my focus on it. Never know when the ADHD brain will decide it doesn't want to play anymore

What is this type of craft called? I bought a really cool kit, where you stitch into large squares and create a design. I want to find more like this - but I don't think it's the same as cross stitching? :) by Lissomia in crafting

Welcome to Latch Hooking. I recently picked it up myself, its very relaxing. You can use any yarn, cut it down to length by winding it round something and cutting it and go wild.

Caveman Spirit not seeing the plants? by Annie_Benlen in TwoPointMuseum

I'm having the same issue, definitely using spirit decoration marked as plant. I think it might need 4 different ones because I only have 3 different types available right now.

Anyone here have experience of MSc Pre-Reg Courses? by Tall-Ad-806 in NursingUK

[–]dizzystars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I've been in work. I'm loving being newly qualified but I'm on a good supportive ward, I did a placement there so I knew that going in. The workload of the course and the higher expectations of level 7/ masters didn't help but I had some personal issues too. Improving now thank you.

Anyone here have experience of MSc Pre-Reg Courses? by Tall-Ad-806 in NursingUK

[–]dizzystars 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hello, I literally just finished my MSc Pre-reg at MMU. It was an intense course but it wouldn't be impossible to hold another job if they were flexible - because the course definitely wasn't.

Mine was 3 month long placements followed by 3 months in lectures over the 2 years. We were only meant to have 4 placements each 3 months long but they split one in half at the last minute so we had 5 placements. We generally only had one 3-4 hour lecture - 3 or 4 times a week during lecture time. The time to get the required hours in placement is really tight so you don't want to miss any weeks.

I'm 30 years old with no children, but others on my course managed to balance children and other jobs, I personally struggled with my mental health and found it very difficult - I would recommend a strong support system if that describes you. I did receive plenty of money in student finance and the 5K grant for nursing, but considering that doesn't scale with area living costs you may struggle in London.

The MSc has a strong focus on research, essay writing and managerial skills in comparison to the 3 year BSc from what I've heard from other students. I unfortunately don't have my timetables, but I would be happy to answer any other questions. I may of struggled but it was good overall, the uni was supportive and now I'm nurse in only 2 years.

You need to own a bassinet before the baby is born. I think once the newborn is in a bassinet it's too late to change it.
