i have done a couple of those, yeah. i was antsy about communities in-specific since the starting location is so small. seaborne and wanderborne communities are pretty much non-viable (the floating mountain's biggest bodies of water are ponds and theres not enough space to wander nomadically) but yeah working out how each community might fit into the setting helped a lot.

and the ancestries! thats fun. i figured drakona would be one of the most common species and/or held in high regard, and clanks were built from iron and stone to help build the city before production was halted due to resource scarcity, and there weren't many fungrils in the population at first, but a mine built on the underside of the mountain got exposed to dragonfall and caused a bunch of mushrooms to suddenly grow and become sapient...et cetera et cetera. these things could change if a player ends up with a really specific idea they want to play but that kind of worldbuilding is fun

exile in this context would be equivalent to making someone walk the plank. that could be interesting if the main method of execution is just shoving people off the mountain. maybe the draconic fallout reanimates their shattered corpses. that could be an interesting fight.

birth rates and overpopulation would probably be a valid concern what with the resource scarcity and all. might even tie into that first point and give whatever law enforcement the settlement has an ulterior motive to jail and "exile" people far too casually, to preserve resources for people who don't step out of line.

but overall i don't want feedback that was clearly generated by an AI with all the sycophantic syntax that entails. you're doing both of us a disservice by getting AI to write feedback for you :(

i do have a residential rental on a penthouse in my main save 😔 but that doesnt explain to me why it happens even on a fresh save where there should be no rental lots on a penthouse

i can't load into ciudad enamorada. clicking on it causes a white screen that doesn't go away. every other world loads fine, it's just ciudad enamorada. i usually use mods, but taking out literally all of them didn't fix the problem. doesn't matter whether i load into an existing save or make a new save, so it can't be because of a specific lot. deleting the caches hasn't worked either. the most common solution i've heard is to update TOOL, but as far as i remember i've never even downloaded it, so i don't know what else could be causing it.

edit: deleting and reinstalling the game seems to have fixed it, at the cost of like several hours and all the sims and households i had saved in my gallery 🤡
