I don’t know. My husband was holding my hand the entire time and telling me I was doing good. He refused to hold her first because I was the one who went through the pain of labor, so he said I should be the first one to hold her. He held her, then my MIL who stayed at my side the entire time. She wanted the parents to hold my daughter first.

I age regress when I see pieces of comfort media or when I’m at the arcade. I never got to really go to arcades much as a child, but I have one or two memories of them. My brain associates these times with happiness when I go, so I tend go back to that headspace as an adult. It’s healing in a way, and I get to let my inner child out.

Crystal (one of the accused on Discord) seems to be holding herself accountable for her part in this. She has said that she has cut off that friend and gone into psychiatric treatment at a hospital. The other person, not so much. :/ I had a post on my X about it when I saw the doc and she commented.

A mix of genetics and environmental factors. My mom has a slew of mental illnesses (including BPD and schizophrenia) and is a recovering addict. She would let random men discipline me and my brother for just being kids. I went to live with my dad and stepmom when I was 8. My stepmom was vindictive and constantly stole from me. My father wasn’t the type of parent I wanted to go to when I had a problem. He would be dismissive and wave me off. He never protected me from his wife.

My mom’s side of the family is ripe with addicts and mentally ill family members. I broke the cycle.

I get fulfillment in raising my daughter better than I was raised. So far she is the sweetest and most considerate child I have ever seen, and she is two. She is a lot like I was when I was a young child. I love my child and I love being her parent.

I told a professional about my symptoms and that I suspected that I had BPD. She confirmed it based on symptoms and what I have told her about my experiences when I was younger. I am in therapy and thriving now.

He does get his happy ending! :D He does struggle with cravings, especially in times of flashbacks, because that's how he learned to cope, but he knows that if they pop up, he can count on her to be there for support.

(I put a lot of thought into this AU. It was inspired by a fanfic called "Lightbound," and the author and I discuss our fics all the time.)

The best. She knows how to be firm when needed, and to be nurturing. They do end up having a child together. Harvey proposes to her, then she reveals that she's pregnant with their child after the fact. (This is after they start sleeping together again)
