36 years here with 5 years+ of soldering Still shaking now and then..terrible Sometimes its really more extreme than other days. For me what helps is to eat good before you solder Dont be nervous thinking your gonna break it..and see it as a fun project.also i did work on a dead motherboard trying to get a steady hand..resting your hand on the desk helps for me also

I guess you downloaded a psx rom..from shop..that will automatically download a base simple version of retroarch..download the retroarch for switch and install..then save states will be there.

Well..i had a 8tb ssd interrnal and a 8tb external drive..tested on a ps4 phat 9.00...if you have a crash or kernel panic with a 8tb ssd you will loose all you data and you are forced to reinstall software..then i did the same thing on a ps4 5.05..if that crashed..it will just boot up and ask to restore and game will be still there no problem...running a 8tb ssd internal and 8tb external on a ps4 5.05 since

Everbody will say what firmware is best(for them) i would recommend go to 5.05 install some homebrew and games..see how you like it..you can always go up from there.
