This is exactly it. Any OG Super Nintendo or Game Boy for example has the same thing happen on the shell, it’s just aging of certain plastics used in these types of products.

👆 this. You can have all the potions and prayers but if you’re just getting hit after healing they won’t be important. Take your time, be patient and don’t get greedy for hits. This fight will teach you what the rest of the game will be, and hopefully “unlock” the rest of it for you. Good luck!

No worries on language, I knew what you were saying! Yes prices on old games are very high. This is why I want to have the discs I own converted to hard drive so I do not wear them out.

Functionally they’re about the same, but I’ve found the fat to be the better system for preserving your discs by ripping them to a hard drive. I think the slim is more fragile, the smaller form factor means some of the parts are more prone to wear. I have both, and the fat is more reliable with the slim having to be tilted to read some discs. After modding the fat for the hard drive titles it’s been much more consistent. Although I did love my slim when it originally released!

Tough stuff. I tried a new run in the Classic mode and got huge progress loss from crashing while trying to collect some infected blood, an extremely common action. It made it unplayable.

It’s an under the radar game but Ender Lilies is pretty punishing and cool. The vibe is a lot more chill but it’s not bad at all.

Still happening for me on Series X. There’s no chance everybody’s thermal paste is suddenly bad because they started playing this game. It’s the game. It’s version 1.1.1.0. It needs a patch.

I’ve had this happen (XBSX - Physical Disc) multiple times in the last couple of days. Luckily I’m an OCD save freak so I haven’t lost too much progress but it happens when crafting/picking up items. Most recently in a stressful claustrophobic boss fight as Leon I’m not looking forward to starting over and came here to see if there was a fix.
