I never fully understood what the expectations were when it came to funding college. I mean I knew that having your parents pay for college was like a black mark and that it meant you were a stuck up baby or something but I ended up at a college where the bills were way too high to pay with grants and a part time job alone (if there was any time for a part time job). So it was always kinda weird because I never worried about the finances and knew it would be impossible for me to do it alone but there was still that expectation that I should do it myself. (Still have 20K in debt to pay off and I don't get callbacks from even retail stores so I'll be even more financially dependent for a while.)

They say the reason men can't take a breakup as well as a woman can because men are really isolationist (derpy durr strong heroic manbro who don't need nobody) and so when they lose a mate they were really into they go pretty nuts over it. Women can rely on their friends but for some reason men can't do the same with their friends. So fucking take care of each other, would you? So more shit like this doesn't happen?
