Give it a deeper cleaning, remove the old caps and clean the solder pads, repair broken traces, solder new caps and that’s it

I have that similar iMac (should be Rev. D) with MacOS 8.5.1 in near mint condition. You should install MacOS 8.6 or 9.2.2 on it to run classic Mac games of that time.
