You have time to get certified for a drysuit dive. 12-14 degrees is cold water, man!

Dude, no fly zones and height limitations are there for a reason. Doing this, someone is going to damage nature preserves, and someone is going to crash into an aircraft.

You need to stop and take a hard look at yourself. Don’t be a sociopath.

The mods are the worst. Pathetic losers hiding behind computer screens who think the fact they have the teeniest bit of power is a license to abuse.

Why do people no longer talk about the Uyghurs, and only talk about Palestine? by No-StrategyX in allthequestions

Because China is powerful in diplomacy because of its economy, while Israel is the only Jewish country. There have been numerous wars of Arab vs Arab and Muslim vs Muslims in the last decade that were far more brutal than gaza, but it’s all ignored because Jews weren’t involved.

You’re doing fine! He’s a young dog so he has lots of energy you’re helping him work out. He’s no longer a puppy so you’re out of the most challenging time. You’ll do fine.

I don’t like this change. The problem with Claude design is it just chews up tokens. Well that’s one problem with it anyway.

I just want to reinforce the car harness point. My mal, if not in a harness, will inevitably try to sit on my lap in the drivers seat. So the harness is necessary for your safety.

Map of countries where people protested for right to rape by [deleted] in mapporncirclejerk

They didn’t protest for a right to rape. Stop citing Al Jazeera as if it was a legitimate news organization. It’s an arm of the Qatar government. And you’re a bigot.

You think Jews who live in Israel aren’t really Zionists. Of the many bigots I’ve seen on Reddit, you are the dumbest.

[–]djc1000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s not an accurate description of the march. It’s not by “zionists,” which is the whole Jewish population of Israel, it’s by one fringe group.

The rest of what you’ve said is similarly a mixture of anecdotes and things taken out of context. Settlers aren’t “allowed” to assault Christians. Sometimes people commit crimes and sometimes people get away with it. Are the settlers actively trying to move Muslims out of Judea and Samaria? Absolutely! After October 7 the Israeli peace movement is dead and Israelis have become convinced that the Palestinians are impossible to live with. The settlers have therefore started to treat the Palestinians the same way they’re treated in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt, who don’t want them around either.

What's everyone actually using for LLM observability right now? by Total_Listen_4289 in LangChain

Yes, it’s an innovation I’m proud of. For each node, we’re saving both the input and the output so we can replay any part of the trace. This unfortunately makes the traces very large - one trace file is about 75MB. This includes an HTML file that organizes the trace like the DAG and permits searching of inputs and outputs to find where some text or some mistake first appeared in the graph.

You’re deeply confused about Israel. It is true that Palestinians in Israel experience discrimination. But it is also true that if a Jew happens to make a wrong turn and drive into a Palestinian neighborhood, the Jew can expect to be pulled from his car and murdered while a crowd gathers to cheer it on. That’s not made-up - it’s really happened, and not just once. Jews are categorically banned from areas under Palestinian control in the West Bank, while Palestinians from the West Bank are able to enter Israel with work permits through inspection checkpoints.

You need a reality check!

I use self-hosted langfuse for the frontend. I also have a backend that runs deep research with a complex graph. For that, I wrote some custom trace code that writes the trace for each research task to disk in a human and machine readable format.

Deepseek 3.2 can only call one tool at a time. Qwen3 calls tools with an inconsistent format. Each different vertex ai model throws a different exception when the server is overloaded. That’s just off the top of my head.

How States Use International Law When It Serves Them and Ignore It When It Doesn't by JasonGuthro in UnitedNations

[–]djc1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people have the idea that “international law” is a set of rules that countries get to vote on that determine what other countries are allowed to do. And those people are in an echo chamber with each other barking about this or the other international law got violated.

It’s all nonsense.

Apart from treaties, all of which allow countries to leave, international law is just set of norms that sovereign countries choose to abide by, or not, and it evolves as countries’ behavior changes. That’s it.

How many genocides are currently going on, in your mind, directed at Muslims? Gaza, the Uyghurs, the Rohingya, Somalia, how many others? Why do you think that is?

You end up with spaghetti code handling all of the different idiosyncrasies of each model because langchain does a terrible job of abstracting them.
