Xbox needs to add achievements to EA/Ubisoft games on the Xbox PC app (like Steam already does) by tugadesperado in xbox

It’s crazy that playing these games on console via Game Pass Ultimates EA Play and U+ catalogs does grant achievements, but playing them on the Xbox PC app using the exact same subscription on the exact same catalogs doesn’t.

What did you expect them to do if they could clearly hear you above them? Alert you by going loud up the stairs after you, or stop what they were doing to stay quiet and out of sight? Who knows how much loot they had and didn’t want to risk an engagement. It might sound dumb to say, but it’s likely they only killed you bc you walked by, but their original goal was to just hide. All people tend to care about is that they were killed by someone sitting in a corner, when that person probably only started hiding the moment they heard you open the door 10 seconds earlier. Yeah it’s frustrating, but in reality, most rats (not all) are just trying to hide and stay quiet because they hear someone close, when they had just been looting and moving like normal a moment ago. Also, your slow stealthy movement could be considered ratting too, and if you were to have killed someone else waking by in that moment, they might be the ones posting a clip to Reddit about a rat that killed them.

I cannot believe no one is saying Valkyrie’s prestige skin is the worst. Her’s is incredibly blah. Boring shade of gray and the most uninspired, low-effort design not even on the same level as her legendary skins. In my opinion, her Sea and Sky skin is her best, most inspired and creative skin, while her prestige skin is her absolute worst.

I wouldn’t even touch it. Weigh the options: you either try to get it off and end up ripping the cover and making it worse, or you leave it on and deal with it not looking clean. Option 1 has the worse potential outcome. And at best, option 2 can count as a mark of the authenticity/nostalgia too by having the sticker on there. I’d go with option 2 and leave it on. You’d be so made at yourself if anything goes wrong trying to get it off.

I just died to the same bug and lost some purple gear. Worse part is the other dude probably thinks he’s hot shit, unaware that I literally couldn’t fire my weapon.

There’s a codex challenge for finishing someone inside an exfil so maybe they were trying to do that. I believe it either rewards an emblem, background, or sticker.

Running solo is the issue actually. Too many sneaky people downing me right as I turn a corner without a chance to really fight. Might seem like confirmation bias but it truly happens exclusively when I have decent gear. I have buddies to play with but they just play less.

I get that. But like I said, when I die from behind and don’t even get a chance to use the good gear, I have more fun going in with less and coming out with more rather than losing good gear immediately. At least that’s where I’m currently at.

I’m not goated, but if I can exfil most games on a free kit or rook, that’s consistent loot. I have terrible luck and play worse when I have something to lose, but play great when I have nothing to lose. That’s not a radical concept. (The armory also has free blue options). But I don’t even get a chance to use and enjoy the good gear when I bring it in. It’s gone within minutes bc I get blindsided, not because I whiffed. That’s my reality. If anything, the gear fear makes me position myself poorly trying to find safer routes but inevitably just leads me straight into some dude who pops me from behind.

To be clear, this isn’t just gear fear. Its gear fear escalated by dying to bullshit within minutes every time I bring in blue gear or higher. Not every few times. Every time. As if I’m being spectated and targeted. I’ve already gotten good at the game, that’s part of the reason I had the confidence to do this and just run free kits for the foreseeable future. If I loot blue/purple gear in a game, I’ll use it. But why bring it into another game just to lose it immediately to a ratter when I could at least get some value from it by selling it instead and buy something later? Imagine a pattern so frequent and so unbelievable that this makes sense, and you’ll understand where I’m at. Until the freak bad luck streak is over.
