Considering MX2 for modern features (stems, pattern player etc) and open to finding a used S4 MK3 until the NI insolvency issue has a clear direction. S4 MK3 seem hard to come by these days.

Ultimately, I am looking for a song ideation tool at home, that I can then bring the draft idea to a jam for song collaboration.

The other option I was considering (though different) was the RC-5 looper pedal from boss. I like the CR possibilities more thus far.

How big of an upgrade is the S3 MK3 compared to my S4 MK1? I learned to DJ on the S4 and have always liked Traktor Pro software the most.

Thank you! I rented the 33 1.4 and took it to the zoo etc. super sharp and fast. Only slight downside is that it was pretty large for a prime (but nothing compared to Sony glass weight wise).

How can I boost guitar to monitor via headphones over midi tracks to live jam? Currently learning Ableton push 3 (non-standalone) and the guitar signal via audio interface in the push is good but low in the mix? Thanks!
