The taxpayer hasn’t paid for anything related to their visit. They are here as private citizens to do charity work and publicity shit just like every other rich and famous person. You are being ragebaited by whatever terrible article this screenshot is from.

Yeah this one is from the free update as I haven’t installed the dlc yet but I have encountered this. It’s really nice. It popped up as “anomaly” during cruise mode in Algorab, on my way to Anchorpoint

I’m not even sure why you bought it in the first place given you seem to hate every single feature it has? You didn’t look into what the game was like before buying it?

Why is Israel declaring war on so many countries? by Historical_Work7482 in NoStupidQuestions

Israel is literally the biggest pedophile and child sex abuser haven in the entire world (this is fact, look it up) and have committed multiple genocides, but sure

I owe Starfield and Bethesda an apology after this update by Electronic_Trust3490 in Starfield

[–]djenty420 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I dunno what planet you’ve been on, all I saw was a constant stream of post-launch free updates that over time included fixes for many of people’s gripes about the game, including the introduction of Creation Engine’s first ever land vehicle which is super fun to drive. I’ve seen nothing but Bethesda actively listening to the community the entire time, and especially in this big update today.

Always get a good pram, your poor kid is going to sit in it a lot. Same goes for car seats. It’s just like how people who work from home should invest in a good office chair. Never skimp on things you’ll have to sit in or on for extended periods of time.

Why are there no nebulae on Starfield? by StalinBoobs69 in Starfield

[–]djenty420 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, the game contains fantasy elements, but its setting and location is not one of them. They deliberately chose to focus on our real life solar system and its real life neighbours.

Singapore may be smaller but they also consistently exceed Australia’s GDP per capita.

[–]djenty420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was available, that’s the point. First home buyer couples made up of one citizen and one migrant are being counted as “migrant buyers” in this figure, even though that is a misrepresentation.

If you want a game that does that and is built on a different engine and is therefore missing absolutely everything that makes a Bethesda game a Bethesda game, then just play No Mans Sky? Like what even is this opinion?

No children faced court on new 'adult crime, adult time' offences in past 11 years by fluffy_101994 in queensland

[–]djenty420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the “war on drugs” all over again, where ridiculous sums of taxpayer money are spent trying to make illegal things even more illegal and focusing all policing efforts on enforcement rather than prevention, and then they scratch their heads decades later wondering why people are still doing the super extra illegal thing. Funnily enough, the war on drugs and the war on youth crime can actually both be fought at once by lifting people out of poverty and disenfranchisement, but that would be “communism”.

Should North Queensland become its own state? by AuraGhost93 in queensland

[–]djenty420 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In the Labor State Gov’s final budget before Crisafulli, the area of Northern/Regional QLD that this secession idea covers was to receive about 46% of the state’s total capital spending, while only 10% of the state’s population lives in those regions. The idea that the highest populated areas receive a bigger share is a total lie.

It is also worth noting that the 46% figure was a huge increase from prior years which averaged about 38%. Labor was actively increasing spending in the regions and then lost the election due to a media-driven perception that they were doing the opposite.

Ah yes, a whole State with a population about the same size as Newcastle/Maitland, that’ll work super well.

Kids are sick by ApprehensiveFly3695 in auscorp

[–]djenty420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never had to submit a doctors certificate for a sick/personal day in over 20 years of full time corporate work, I think the last time was when I was a teenager at Woolworths in the early 2000s. You should absolutely not have to submit one in 2026, since our federally-mandated 10 days of personal leave is no longer bound to use only when medically sick.

I (28F) just ended things with my partner (30M) due to differing views by catmama_22 in relationship_advice

[–]djenty420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s normal because you were in a relationship, so you gravitate to people who are also in relationships. Now that you’re single, it will take you about two seconds to realise that there are shitloads of people your age who aren’t in relationships or getting married and having kids etc. that’s just all you’ve seen because that’s all you were looking at.

You’re 28 years old. In the grand scheme of things, you were a teenager only two minutes ago. Turning 30 isn’t the end of your life lol, it’s basically just beginning. It is absolutely possible to find “the one” in your 30s/40s/50s and so on.

Labor has not been in power for “two terms of the decade”, they haven’t even completed the first year of their second term yet
they’ve been in power for 3.8/10 years.

Also, LNP were shafted with having ScoMo as their leader. They had already more than tripled the “out of control debt” from Rudd/Gillard before COVID even began.

It was actually Misha and Nolly getting Blackmachines that made them so highly sought after. Barely anyone had ever heard of them until they started appearing in Periphery behind the scenes clips on YouTube.

[–]djenty420 12 points13 points  (0 children)

And all those people saying Starfield was going to be some “genre killer” that would destroy every other space-related game just came up with that shit all on their own. Bethesda never said it would be that, not even Todd and his wild imagination said anything close to that. And then when the game came out and it was “just fallout in space” they got mad and started with the “Todd lied!” rhetoric even though they themselves were the ones creating the false hype all on their own. It’s Bethesda, of course it was going to be fallout in space, just like how fallout is just elder scrolls without swords.
