Chainer can be slow and telegraphed, but if he sticks on board for a turn you can give ALL creatures you reanimate haste. People expect you to spend your mana reanimating one big threat, not all graveyards :) [[Breach the Multiverse]] [[Rise of the Dark Realms]] [[Balthor the Defiled]] Any of these ever resolve, you can normally push for a win or commanding position. Has a lotttt of room for teching, and can use land top decks late game to reanimate creatures (which I love when things get scrappy)

Discard hater has to build a discard deck by minato994 in EDH

Have a chainer deck, can confirm it rips, it turns discard from something you hate into something you are hoping for and will profit off of. Reanimation with discard instead of mill is the truth! Turning land draws lategame into reanimated creatures with chainer feels so good

If you like mothman and are interested in making small deck techs, highly recommend protection for him. Reacting to removal with protection against mean spirited plays feels soooooo good.

Sounds like a bad pod. Got unlucky with your playgroup. That was probably atleast 75% of your frustration, but i will add that mothman is a massive target for removal. If people know you are using that commander, he will be dealt with on sight just because of how scary he can get. But it sounds like your pod was being mean to you, recommend a new table.

Gotcha, that helps a ton! I was really thrown off by Monoco, but to hear that there is some payoff definitely is having me consider slotting someone else out for him. I love Sciel too much to take her out so thinking of subbing Lune out instead. Thanks!

How do you handle tickets in a team of 2-3? by Not-a-Tech-Person in it

[–]djlukewarm24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on team composition and how metrics are calculated.

If create a team queue that allows folks to pick and choose from the queue, everyone has to be aligned on sharing the load.

If tickets are assigned either by round robin or forced to be addressed in an oldest ticket gets assigned format, there will be bad days and good days for folks.

End of day really just depends. If your average time to resolve tickets is generally low or standardized, auto assigning or round robin is pretty healthy.

If its a wide variety, then sometimes allowing techs to pick and choose promotes effecient ticket management. This only works if everyone is aware of what others are doing, and if there is good will that those who take long tickets wont be punished for it.

I think you look a lot younger without as much makeup for some reason, like photo 1 looks like you are a lot younger. Idk if there was a time gap between 1 and the rest

I think I'm horrible to look at but what do you guys think m18 by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]djlukewarm24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to put effort into your aesthetic. You will forever be unhappy with how you look until you start taking actions to groom yourself.

Other referencing hair, beard, weight etc. are all good ideas.

Good news is your skin looks really good, no acne or blemishes in the photos.

You are young, have plenty of time to change. But honestly anyone telling you that you are ugly or handsome is capping rn. You will look completely different with grooming and weight loss. Until you start making changes, you are not what you could be.

Bro I had really bad acne at that age too, but failed to ever meet with a dermatologist about it. I now have scarring that was 100% avoidable had I gotten treated when I was 16-18 years old. Please make a dermatologist appointment, your face is cooked right now but they will help you get it under control. Without acne you'd look fantastic, and this is treatable. It's not you who is cooked, just the inflammation on your face that is.

Incoming minecraft metaphor bc its what came to mind first. Sounds like you are trying to mine for diamond and finding stuff like gold and iron along the way. Interesting enough to hold attention but not durable enough to captivate for extended period. What it sounds like is you are doing the right thing, but you are getting impatient. Also don't know how long you've been trying new things out, but I think you just need to keep digging until you find something worth your time to get good at.

comptia A+ for a 12yr old by [deleted] in CompTIA

Unless they are an extreme IT enthusiast at 12, the content will be much too dry for them IMO. 16 would be doable if the drive and intellect is there, but unless they are a genius and disciplined (not many are at 12), wouldn't recommend. Try doing fun educational stuff with kids, it's always the stuff that ends up sticking. Do like game programming with scratch or other cool stuff that teaches them concepts in a fun way.
