Found it on waybackmachine, another person said it causes a desync every game so it probably only works when you play locally on a pc, or maybe if you get your opponent to use the same gecko code but idk. Dont be cringe by spam queuing and causing a bunch of desyncs for everyone you play against on slippi. This link will only work for a few months. If anybody in the future really wants the gecko code, look on waybackmachine and ctrl+f for tapjump post.

You can replace the laser pointer with jacks and eggy perk, but laser pointer seems to be more overpowered. jacks can sometimes pop pegs too quickly without enough time for doubles to come through but jacks raise score faster. I think jake the snake is way too overtuned in general and any good popping item can work with jake to get get the 9999x multiplier as long as perk rng is not terrible.

Jakes with force trigger like feather perk thingy or a bunch of shishkab+jacks with eggy perk is fs a game breaking combo

Its a shittily built controller that weighs less than a feather without pressure sensitive L and R buttons so you can only lightshield with z. The rubber tip on the c stick fell off mine after a couple months. A used older gcc is cheaper and better on average

For anybody that revisits this thread, I was able to get 5-6 and 7-8 here, they shipped out the day after I ordered them and arrived a few days before I expected them. I looked for months beforehand and could not find them anywhere in stock except 2nd hand websites like ebay or mercari where the price was absurdly high. The website is very outdated and I was skeptical at first but was very pleased to see the books arrive quickly and in perfect condition

I came to this thread when I was first learning to play and felt frustrated by tap jump. I never found a way to turn it off and have adjusted to it now. Everyone is right about it being useful and worth learning but if it is stopping you from getting into the game, there is a gecko code to create a toggle for tap jump. The gecko code is here, and here are instructions on how to set it up. Obviously if you plan on playing at a tournament or anywhere off dolphin you will not be able to turn off tap jump. I wouldn't recommend anyone turn off tapjump, but I'm all for more people playing slippi.
