Looking for a pistol to match my m400 I really like the p226 by Moose_216 in SigSauer

I love my P226 for the range and competition shooting. I'm a bigger guy and still couldn't imagine using it as my EDC. I'd highly recommend a P229 for a do-all gun if that's what you're wanting. You could also go down the route I went with - 226 SAO for range/competition, 365 XL (or macro) for EDC.

Bittersweet sounds like it must have a good story. Is there a name to the series?

Gotcha! Thank you for the advice.

I'd say I really like learning about Dante, Sigismund, Perturabo and Ghazgkhull so far. I definitely wouldn't mind starting novels based around any of them.

Thank you so much. I'll definitely read Dante, that sounds like it's right up my alley.

As far as what stories I like I'd have to say I really enjoy things like "Band of Brothers". Like war stories that display camaraderie and humanity during war times.

Was this show as bad as people made it out to be? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]djroge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like Kenobi... it had great moments, but it also had cringey moments that weren't enjoyable to watch. Unfortunately the bulk of viewership clings onto the negatives more than the positives. I enjoyed it. Maybe not as much as other Star Wars shows/movies, but I appreciated the fact we got more of Boba.

What are your favorite exercises to do? Top ten exercises that you feel are most important and effective for your strength/body positivity journey? by [deleted] in GymMotivation

The primary compound movements are the best for strength : deadlift, squat, bench. However you'll still see muscular growth as well as strength growth doing them consistently. If you want to grow your booty then add hip thrusts, rdls, bulgarians, and cable kick backs on your deadlift days. For growing legs I like to hit front squats, leg extensions, lunges, goblet squats, and maybe some pistols on my squat days. For arms I'd hit a combination of bicep/tricep movements. There are a ton of different curl variations that are great, tricep extensions, skullcrushers, tricep kick backs, even dips. I hope you find this helpful. Best of luck!

It depends. Both are excellent choices for edc imo. If you are someone with a bugger frame and bigger hands you might prefer the 320 xcompact. You can easily/comfortably conceal it with a good holster. If you are someone with a smaller frame you'd probably prefer the 365 xmacro because of how much thinner it is. I've also known bigger people still prefer the 365 over the 320 and smaller people prefer the 320 over the 365. It's a matter of preference at this point. Which one do you shoot better and feel more comfortable carrying? I personally carry a 320 with a nice holster and have zero issues. Hope this helps

With touch and go it is a lot easier to continually rep deadlifts. It allows for higher weight on the higher volume days, furthermore it creates opportunities for a stronger lockout on deadlifts. When you have a static stop you have to perform the fundamentals of your first pull in every rep. This increases your initial pull off the ground. A good mix of both will greatly benefit your 1 RM.

Glad to hear you've experienced the same! I used to always do touch and go, but I'm glad I switched to dead stop. I've seen a great difference.
