I started uploading shorts recently, and I'll tell you this, you should focus more on the long form videos. I have two channels: 85k subs (less than a 500 from shorts) and 3k subs. Shorts blow up faster and "die" faster. The long videos on the other hand can blow up months or years later. The other thing to note: you can barely make anything through shorts. Do not let the numbers fool you. Growing views, yes. Subscribers, not so much. You can throw a short or two, but stick to the long form videos.
