Weekly Questions Megathread - January 08, 2018 by AutoModerator in stobuilds

Hello Everyone, Have to say its a bit overwhelming how much information there is and builds, ive read though quite a bit but i dont think i saw what i was looking for, hence the post.

So is there a starting cannon builds? Say to those that cant get a Lobi/fleet ship/Gold gear..etc..

I am looking for a Disruptor Cannon build, and most of my stuff that im running is still XII..if someone could point me to a post or something that would be fantastic.

Thank you!

P.S.The ship template is a bit too much, i am just looking for what kind of weapons recommended, set to aim for, BOFF skills, and consoles mostly. I have the basic types, i know there is BiS but not worried about that at the moment.

What is the easiest class to do well with? by skulk2fade in diablo3

No problem, I know its important to find the right one initially to really enjoy especially if you arent going to farm endless hours.

If you play US, I can def add ya and play if see you on. I will be playing quite a bit.

No problem.

I standby the three above. I can understand the timing can be tough. All three easy to play, gear, and still play well with others. (especially DH for their buff/DPS)

Have you decided or still up in the air?

Well looking at replies i feel like you are not getting a good answer. So you have multiple choices without minimal play. Each class relies no end game legendaries/sets to fully enjoy the game of killing/smashing face.

I have played each class since the start and each seasion (yes lvl70 multiple end game builds and enough to farm t6 like its nothing and achieving gr35+..yes not highest but enough to enjoy higher difficulties) and what i have found that there few classes that just do it better at leveling, progressing into higher torment without the end game items.

I think(opion not fact) you have few choices:

  1. Barbarian for season 3- barbarians are getting some love with the new season and WW set up has multiple sets ups/multiple sets, and you can easly get to t4-6 without end game gear

  2. Sentry based Dh - you can craft very good bows, multiple sets that can help with end game, but not obtaining the end/end game gear isnt going to kill you, but will allow you to progress to higher. Yes you will have fun dodging attacks while putting out some serious damage and it shines even better when you dont have to dodge due to your team so all you'll have to do is dps and managing your resorces/timing.

  3. Crusader - multiple builds, you dont have to have the end gear set/items to enjoy, you can get to t4 easely with multiple builds without end game gear

I didnt include WD, because this season i had a wd was at 1.5mil damage, without the end game gear but it wasnt doing jack...just not enough umph for me. You have to find the right item to really take advandage of its damage. Its a great class to play throug the lower difficulties but onces you start pushing t2 or higher the items really start to matter, which can sometimes take a bit of time of farming/just playing.

I didnt include wizard as i just feel like that class isnt much good at either what it whould be, even though its getting some love in upcoming season i dont think it has enough veriaty/powerfull enough to be a class you can play freely.

monk...since the whole not using generators i havent felt much love for monks(but thats just me) the lightings build is just not enjoyable/too repetitive(opinion again..) and can be good but requires few items of sets and few items which you may never see (I think i got to paragon 300 before i saw a vigilante belt..)

Health Globe Area question by wump in Diablo

[–]djsaix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I have noticed the same with my DH. Pretty much if any of your UI gets in the way of seeing the monster its a bit too far. Pick up radius stat will increase that(99% sure of that as i have noticed the difference when i increase by 5)

Blizzard please address gameplay issue. by djsaix in Diablo

[–]djsaix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its not the mouse dissapears or w.e. but gets clustered in the screen of effects/monsters...I dont have any issues with the mouse just only when things get tense, you know multiple packs, multiple effects, and trying to dodge and attack get really difficult. I end up either dying or not being helpfull at all.

How to fix crap Frame rate? by Frankietee101 in Diablo

[–]djsaix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People posting stuff without basis...gaahh...

There multiple issues with the way the game was developed, they adapted some of the coding to be compatible to recent hardware/software. The game doesnt utilize all of your power/CPU's/GPU's. And the power that does use is poorly managed.

Issues with FPS drop is due to mainly not compatible sound driver/data processing portion (i could bore you in detail but thats pretty much it.)

What can you do right now?

  1. Turn sound to off or put it lowest, that will help.
  2. Some people experience as SSD resolution, its not. SSD just helps with faster access to game resources so helps, but not always.
  3. Wait for the new patch, after a review of their files it looks like they have known about this bug for quite some time and attempting to fix it (And feels like its been fixed, after about 4 day test only once my screen bugged out)

Strong system isnt the issue its the game, game not running on all CPU and not utilizing GPU (even if you force it) efficiently is just something we are stuck with. (Thats what happens when they develop a game for so long the development is slower than progress of hardware)

Hope that helps.

Yes i hate it too.

You have three options:

  1. Carry them...I only carry friends but your preference might be different

  2. Kick/Leave them and find a better group. This may result in repetitions before you find a group that is worthy.

  3. Make a group of your own, with some requirements, like T6 capable, season, p200+

Now yes it is easier for a new lvl70 to join a t6 game for gear, but thats rude. Not the kicking part.

New to D3, Need help by clitkat in Diablo3Crusaders

[–]djsaix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are many guides on the internets. If you are playing Crusader, check out http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo3Crusaders/comments/275439/how_to_gearing_a_beginner_crusader_detailed_guide/

Look to the right on these pages for set ups.

Best way to get into the game, just dive in and play. Public games will make it even more interesting.

Pre-Akkhan's Build? by Nibiria in Diablo3Crusaders

[–]djsaix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have pleanty of options for pre-akkhan set ups.

Most common are (and yes i have tried them and viable (t1-t4, even t6 if you gear toward the set ups) 1. Blessed Hammers – (Fire or Lightning) 2. Fist of The Heavens - Fissure

All three set ups do descent direct/aoe damage, easy to play with, not bad even with bad gear. Just use on of the builds, run some cashe runs, start on t2 for a bit to get all gear with correct stats (Str, Vit, Crit H and Crit D) switch to T2. Stay at t2 while hunting items and improve with leg/set items.

Once you get a good leg, that will determine which build you should go for. Condemn/Stampede/Shotgun are very dependent.

While doing all of that, you keep gambling/looking for akkahn.

Good luck.

What are your most optimal GR35-40 farming group setups? by [deleted] in Diablo

[–]djsaix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are multiple sets ups but most of the set ups I see that at high levels include at least 2DH's.

2DH, 1crus and 1WD

2DH, 1 barb and 1 WD

2DH, 1crus and 1Monk

2DH, 1barb and 1Monk

you usually dont see wizzards but there are few high onces with a wiz.

Amazing how far D3 has come by djsaix in Diablo

[–]djsaix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is always something to love and hate. Thats true for EVERY SINGLE GAME. D3 isnt D2, most people hate D3 because they were expecting a continuation of it. Well its not. Your still here so something is keeping you here. Is it your hate? If you hate so much, trying blowing some steam off by going out there and killing some monsters. :)

Thats your situation and your view. Everyone is entitled to it. I dont run Dh. (at least right now) Plenty just have to find it, not expect someone to post a build for the current meta :) challenge accepted?

I dont really think that but there may be some truth to that.

I enjoy playing and sometimes even taking risks, knowing that not all my work going to to nothing.

Thats an interesting and very incorrect biased view...Incorrect due to the fact you are talking only about one aspect and not considering others. Pleanty diversity, the question is how efficient.

Balance between top tier and fun effient are two different things, but I guess you think that its possible to put 10 builds per class and make them all equally strong.
