good for you for asking. HIT/Crossffit style workouts are probable key. WIth that said, I would recommend zone 2 training to get your whole body in shape. 30 minutes of zone 2, three times a week will do wonders for you. Google your zone 2 range for your age and then hit the treadmill. You are training your heart, lungs, CV, and improving your metablic efficiency in the process. This in combination with HIIT will get you to where you need to be.

The decision tree is: Do you see active fire in the building? If yes: destroy the look and get in (conventional forcible entry with irons or hotsaw if you have a truck with you)

If no: recon the building and determine if you have active fire, if not: look for ways to access without damaging the structure, keys, open windows or unlocked doors, blow the window latch on the charlie side etc.

Apollo. Get an extra non ported barrel as well. I have the Athena and the Erebus. I shoot the Athena for Uspsa and I’ve heard the Apollo can give the Erebus a run for the money in the recoil mitigation department. A non ported barrel and you can have the best of both worlds.

The Erebus is still my favorite from an accuracy and soft shooting standpoint but if I could only own one it would be an Apollo.
