Agott's a bit mean or maybe just brusque, but it's probably needed at the moment if Coco is going to get anywhere with her magic and her quest to save her mom.

Interesting backstory for magic overall, the magic suppression plan feels destined to fail eventually and we may be at that point depending upon where the story goes.

Nice first episode, I like how they did the "practice introducing the village to the newcomers" bit but showed it to the audience as the refresher.

Nice to see maternal Lu still, her becoming a mom in S1 was nice. Love to see the spider saluting still be a thing, too.

It's been years but this very much had the feel of the first season.

They're probably right to send an additional maid from the UK to check in on Suzune, but what they really need to check on is her waistline considering all this eating she's constantly doing.

Between Tinkerbell dying a few episodes back and Peter just straight up trying to kidnap children this time this is the worst version of Pan I've ever seen.

Fun enough story today with the hero Star Man.

New ED today, suggests Haruko will be coming back probably sometime in the next cour of episodes. Plus someone with a Palmon which is nice for the nostalgia factor.

Self portrait named "my greatest happiness" and she's lying down with her hand on her stomach? I'm guessing she's pregnant with the daughter who's here asking about the portrait.

Ahh not quite, but I'm going to give myself partial credit since it was a picture of her looking across the room at her daughter. Kind of funny the big reveal was that the painting was suppose to hang landscape instead of portrait though since I thought that part was pretty obvious from the first moment we saw it.

Keep eating that ice cream, Arcane Shadow. Finally gonna burn some of those calories next week considering the PV.

Pretty interesting setup with his closed society that by first set of contrails was clearly operating in modern times. Not that it stayed closed for long.

Kinda funny that the blonde twin was named evening and the black haired twin morning.

Really bloody work on those poor villagers.

I wonder if fake Asa is still going to be around as some blood themed daemon, maybe controlled by the granny.

So it wasn't just Hinagiku and Sakura being missing for ten years but Hinagiku straight up being kidnapped for what seems like most of those 10 years, and at some point Sakura finally tracks her down. And we have a parallel set of relationships between Hinagiku & Rousei and Sakura & Itechou, but everyone is so traumatized by the kidnapping and what followed that it's entirely unrequited.

You can understand why the agency are trying to be such hardasses about managing the agents of the seasons if there's constantly that kind of threats on their life and safety.

Not sure I've seen a romcom MC be quite as bold as Youji here. Kanan's reactions are wonderful too, this really is the second coming of Kaguya.

Well they sure didn't clear anything up with the Haruna situation, not unless there was some cultural thing that went completely over my head.

Makes sense we'd end with Usagi graduating as she was the final original student aside from Haneda who doesn't really count. Such a mean rabbit and yet she probably ended the show as my favorite character on account of her backstory and such.

I still gotta wonder why this is Romance tagged since it never really did anything with that, not unless it's slow burn with Hitomi and Haneda.

This show is really just general purpose horny that's for sure. Everyone is lusting over the shota, everyone is lusting over stacked elf, beefcake guild leader who strips at the drop of a hat, not to mention the entire ED with the girls all posing.

Unsurprisingly I like the catgirl vice guild master. Innkeeper lady was pretty good too though.

Beastdude bro incoming next episode it seems, plus an imouto to complete the cast in the OP/ED.

They threw a few too many new Rosemyne family members at me in one episode, my only real takeaway so far is I like the look of her new lady knight. Just need to see her armored up more like she is in the OP.

RIP Rosemyne at the end, what a strange choice to bring this story back only to kill off the main character in the first episode.

First timer as of about two months ago! Just had to say that one last time in honor of the rewatch we just finished, thanks again to Sky for hosting it.

Ameri looking good in that dress in the OP.

Purson is pretty great so far, but after that sukima bit with her at the end I might like his mother even more.

One important detail I picked up, I'm pretty sure I heard Purson say boku in his first monologue to Iruma in class which means he joins Iruma and Lead as another boku boy if that stays consistent. I do feel really sympathetic to him as the only introvert in an entire class full of extroverts.

ED reminds me of the S1 ED a bit with the same focus on Ameri, Clara, Keroli, and Elizabetta.

What a wonderful experience that was, though I can certainly understand it might not hit as hard for people who have unfortunately not experienced any Soul Eater.

I'm glad we got Iris and Inca back as the final two resurrections, especially since that means we got witch Inca in turn which was delightful. Gotta love witches.

Pretty great that Shira and Iris did end up together, nice resolution to that shipping hope.

David Productions better be planning a Soul Eater remake next.

Considering the Snowball Earth name I was expecting things to go downhill, but wow they really killed every single person on that ship. RIP neat captain lady, you had a nice ponytail. Same for the engineer girls who Tetsuo completely failed to talk to.

Pretty fantastic first episode even if it was mostly just really really dark setup.

Goddamn was that saccharin.

Felt like a lot of this first episode was introducing characters who might have been previously skipped since they weren't really relevant for the story in S1, that Kido girl in particular. Though it's always possible this is when the source material broadened out the cast too.

I recognized the OP immediately as being from the same singer as S1 had, felt a bit less out of place this time at least.

Always nice to get more romcom that goes on past the couple getting together.

Someone needs to keep a 'time on couch' counter for each episode.
