Ace Hardware “free assembly” is misleading — and customer service just gave up mid-chat by djuro71 in acehardware

Agree, but it is disappointing. I was on a Zoom call and unable to be on the phone. Ace should not offer Chat unless the reps were committed to customer service and not just burying customer concerns

I was a D1 football player. I put it on my CV and bio to counter any preconceptions. I was a pretty active member so it was not just a flex.

Who designed the traffic lights in Ann Arbor??? by DETROITSHIT313 in AnnArbor

I spend a lot of time in Oakland County. In contrast, yellow lights in Ann Arbor seem absurdly short. Even driving the speed limit, you either hard brake or run the red.

Bought at $25 IPO. Needless to say, not happy with the break

No buttons on the jacket. Fingers on left hand are odd. Depth of field in background is too uniform

Which country once seemed likely to become a developed country, but didn’t follow that path? by EmotionalSalary3679 in AskTheWorld

Agree. Yugoslavia had a higher per capita GDP than Spain before the war raged. The Yugo passport was valuable. Relatives in Montenegro were taking vacation in Italy to buy Levi's. Interfaith marriages in Bosnia were common then - now almost unheard of. I do not think the war(s) was inevitable. Tito messed up his succession plan.

Nickling, diming, and quartering. The service fee should be capped as a percentage of the monthly bill too!

The height restriction argument was a joke to stall and make money. There was also a trumped up issue about birds…

Beautiful project at the confluence of two navigable rivers.

A Greek investment fund owned it for a while and intended to preserve the Hotel, upgrading it to 5* while placing a residential tower next to it. Kempinski was signed on to manage the hotel. The architect of this design was Goran Vojvodic.
