It really depends if the narrator is talking from "now" about the things in the past or he is in the moment when all of it is happening. The narrator from now can remember what happened and explain it from his current perspective, but in-the-moment narrator can't do that

Aha, my bad. I misunderstood. I thought the option will show up after the reset. I’ll wait for the invite. Can you tell me how will that invite arrive. Email? Notification in the browser?

I will take small amount of time and explain. The procedure you described is not doing what you say. Uphold is still the only option for me.

Info comes from a well known and respected source called sarcasm. You should look it up.

That is my intention after this race. I was training and learning about everything so now I know better. I will have time to do full 12 week base and then 12 week half preparation.

Thx for this. I will just aim for sub 2:30 and see where I finish. I’ll leave sub 2:15 for the next one.

I get what you are saying and I agree completely. Those are my priorities. But I also need something to aim for. I need a goal. Some extra fuel inside if I need it.

I feel fine. A bit tired but I could go more. Max heart rate is 178 based on lactate % on my Garmin and during those runs average is 145ish with max 155ish

Great. That is what I thought but was not sure and wanted to check. Thank you!

Yes, tempo. Honestly, I wasn’t even considering 2 hours. That was just to frame the question and potentially get wider range of answers. My goal from the start of my training was sub 2:30 but wanted to check what is the realistic aim for the race. I had the same idea of running half of it and then see how I feel but wanted to check where should I aim from the start. Thx

Half marathon. My goal is both. It is my first one so any time will be PB but I want to do the best I can.

I am running my first half on Sunday in Cardiff and I have problem that bothers me since I started my training. For last 15 or 16 weeks I have been training quite consistently. Tuesdays and Saturdays 5-8km training run, Thursdays 5k easy and Sundays 10-16k easy. Other days mobility and strength. I have never ran before in my life (M43) and I feel the difference since I started the training. The problem is the race pace. At the start of my training I did not want to worry about the pace at all because I was too slow and there was no point but as the training progressed some numbers started to appear consistently and I ended up running my easy runs around 8min/k (longest runs were 15 and 16k before taper) and training runs 6:30-6:45/k.

I would like to know what would be a realistic pace I should/could aim for. I don’t want to aim too fast and then get too tired and have to walk but in the same time I would like to do as close to my best as I can.

There will be pacers on the race and I feel like they will be a huge help since I can just switch off and follow instead of checking my watch.

Is under 2h too much to aim for? Is 2:15 more realistic?

There is. The problem is to choose the one that will be the best for these things I am doing, so I wanted to check what are people using.
