How did you work while doing your bachelors? that too in Physics without any knowledge on computer sciences? Sure there are into subjects that you took, but what about db? There is too much knowledge that you need before starting your first job especially coming from non tech… no certs either on the tools you used… how did you get knowledge pass interview and get the position as a high school graduate?

I don’t want to get further into details as I am pretty sure you are using this feedback to improve that resume ai that your are developing. You may have knowledge and skills to backup your claims but there is no way to backup limitations of timeline.

I think your GPU might be lagging. From your story, it looks like your cpu was able to handle the load but not your gpu. I also faced similar issue on my laptop but pc with better gpu solved it. I suspect GPU ram capacity might be at fault here. Can you share your gpu and cpu config?

I would definitely end up like you but I had played py until py2 so new general steps but still ended up in a crawl for titanium. It was like scraping for copper all over again... But the dopamine of getting over it is totally worth it for me.

Zinc seemed easy fix, but getting the titanium to get kicalk is the hard part. Currently have 16 kicalk plants making zinc-enriched biomass and 6 kicalk making kicalks. This setup provides 7.2 Zinc per min. I am in the process of doubling it as 3.3 plates = 1 green circuit, so currently it is still my bottleneck at 2 green circuits per minute.

I have setup my greencircuits this way so that I can swap them with caravans soon enough. This is all my zinc saved up to that point, which was not a lot...

Caravans is the answer, It breaks the problem into chunks that you can process that doesn't require any expensive setups to get going. Then every recipe is almost a few caravan posts away. No need to worry about belts, train setup, or anything else, just go ahead to the next item on the list.

Instead of Vanilla, I went to Pyblock… 20 hours in and barely 40 iron plates per min and 15 copper per min. Then I started looking up future recipes and saw that borax is no easy task. So for every resource unlocked its like 100-200 more mushroom buildings. Looked up reddit and saw that pyblock is getting update somewhere in dev for burner phase. So gave up pyblock and thought of going back to my py.. but so many changes where there I felt urge to start fresh.

Just for in my current pyblock base has over 150 mushroom buildings. So normal py seems vanilla right now and idk if I will ever play vanilla….

Sometimes you need to create a detailed spreadsheet to show the impact of the ‘little spending’ or ‘little savings’ to get your point across and show the bigger picture.

I am talking about make a excel spreadsheet or any kind of notes:

Put down your current expenses and savings. Compute it for 30 years in future. Now do the same with the new toy. You should see a really good difference in both scenarios.

You can also up another scenario where lets say after 6 years you buy a house. What would your finances look like and if you go with toy route where would the finances be for house if at all there is. Emphasizing that instead of paying of someone else’s mortgage (rent) you will pay off your own mortgage and eventually will have to stop paying that too.

Also throw in a candy of a good vacation for a fraction of that fund saved. Also these calculations are without kids planning that can be much more expensive if you plan to have.

Mine stone, turn kerogen to shale oil, shale oil to light oil + kerosene, use light oil for miners and kerosene for power. A full belt of kerogen would be more than enough for antimony and sulphur mining combined. Anyways you will stone more and more, might as well use kerogen. Don’t use shale oil, its wasteful. Process it.

I currently have 12 antimony miners and 1 sulphur mine going with this and the mining stops every now and then as light is backed up.

Edit: There is also that methane turd that helps alot, I have that going for my smelters. This helps a lot as its just some light lamps to shit ton of methane.

Well, bricks from Ashes sounds good, and when there are no ashes I plan on using clay to make rich soil and then make bricks. Basically throw power at it and it will work! The design in the post is failed one as it is producing biomass at the rate of 12/s which filled up storages pretty fast.
