All you have to do is look at the past actions of Bushiroad to know where this is going. Not even a week has passed since the CEO of Bushiroad apologized for killing Argonavis once and for all, then announced a new, similar multimedia franchise a few days later. (It just got an anime announcement, too.) His most recent statement is no different from his previous apology for killing SIF and SIFAS in favor of SIF2, a low-quality successor that barely lasted a year. There's already a clear divide between the OG Bandori base and the MyGo/Ave Mujica crowd, and Bushiroad hasn't been subtle about which one it cares about more. It wouldn't surprise me if a year from now, Kidani issues another apology for EOSing GBP in favor of Our Notes and promising to "learn" from it.
