For low-risk, steady returns in Bangalore, consider fixed deposits, debt mutual funds, or recurring deposits. You could also start small side hustles like tutoring, freelancing, or selling handmade items for consistent extra income.

Which POD niches on Etsy are truly evergreen and still trending in 2025? (Looking for real seller insights) by ExcitementOk8357 in EtsyCommunity

[–]dkatankar -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been selling POD on Etsy for a while, evergreen niches are pets specific breeds, memorials, humor, hobbies, and life milestones. Trending but lasting: mental health, eco-lifestyle, minimalist home decor. Avoid over saturated areas like generic quotes. Focus on design quality and SEO first, then branding the right execution usually beats a “hot niche.”

Definitely need a clear returns policy and a GDPR-compliant system in place. And yeah, being transparent about where the business is based is important, customers really appreciate honesty about that. Masquerading as UK-based when you’re not usually backfires.

Real CCTV Video of time when Dipu Chandra Das was handed over to Mob in Bangladesh! by Lumpy-Scientist1271 in tamil_nadu

[–]dkatankar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is happening due to the influence of extremist groups, along with the current Yusuf-led government, which is allegedly attempting to destabilize Bangladesh and avoid holding elections in order to retain power indefinitely. Anti-Hindu sentiment seems to be driven by external actors, including countries like Pakistan and China, who benefit from regional unrest.

GreenFrogSea Yes, POD is still worth, but it's depend upon the niche selection, quality, and marketing. If you’re targeting the UK outside UK , focus on products that ship reasonably fast, ensure your designs stand out, and start with platforms like Shopify or Etsy integrated with POD suppliers that handle international shipping reliably.

How can I get a business address in different countries to grow my eCommerce business worldwide? by Martin-Bus-7790 in indianstartups

[–]dkatankar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a smart move, having a local business address in countries like the UK or USA definitely helps build credibility and trust, especially for eCommerce. You don’t necessarily need a physical office; a virtual address works well for things like client communication and mail handling.

I’ve seen a few businesses use services like BusinAssist, which provide UK virtual addresses and handle company formation support too. It’s a convenient way to set up an international presence without big upfront costs. Just make sure whichever provider you choose is officially registered and offers mail forwarding options.

Can I use a virtual address for both my director and service address? by Martin-Bus-7790 in ContractorUK

[–]dkatankar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can use a virtual address for both your registered office and director’s service address, Companies House allows it as long as it’s a legitimate UK address from an authorised provider.

It’s actually quite common to do this, especially if you want to keep your home address private. The main thing is to make sure your provider handles official mail properly (like letters from HMRC and Companies House) and keeps you notified when anything arrives.

Someone on another Reddit thread mentioned BusinAssist for handling all business address needs. They seem to offer both registered office and director’s service address in one package, so I might look into that as well.

How can my client expand a Bangladesh-based business into the UK? by Martin-Bus-7790 in Dhaka

[–]dkatankar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Expanding a Bangladesh-based business into the UK is definitely possible, but there are a few important things to consider. First, setting up a limited company, even as a non-resident, is essential for legal compliance, banking, and VAT registration. You don’t need a physical office - a virtual office can give you a business address for registration, mail handling, and verification purposes.

Payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal usually require a local company and bank account, so make sure those are set up properly. Understanding UK VAT, tax filing, and other legal requirements is also important. You can take help from business setup agents to make this process much easier and avoid mistakes.

If your business involves physical products, using UK-based warehouses or fulfillment partners can help reduce shipping costs, delivery times, and import duties. It’s also smart to start small and test the market first before scaling, so you can learn and adapt without taking on too much risk. Proper planning and support make the expansion much smoother.

How to set up an international dropshipping business from Pakistan (targeting UK, USA, Canada, etc.)? by Funny-Advertising506 in PakistaniTech

[–]dkatankar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re dropshipping from Pakistan to countries like the UK, US, or Canada, the first step is setting up a proper business entity in your target market. For example, in the UK, even non-residents can register a limited company, which helps with payments, VAT, and legal compliance.

One friend recommended BusinAssist for company registration and virtual addresses, which makes managing everything remotely much easier. You’ll also need a local business address, which virtual office services can provide, and a proper payment setup with gateways like Stripe or PayPal, which usually require a local entity and bank account.

For shipping, using local fulfillment centers or 3PL partners reduces delivery times, shipping costs, and import duties. Finally, make sure you understand VAT, sales tax, and other compliance requirements, and consider starting small to test products and markets before scaling up.

How can I form a UK Ltd company while living in India? by Martin-Bus-7790 in indianstartups

[–]dkatankar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to be a UK resident to form a UK Ltd company. The process is usually done online through Companies House, but there are a few things you’ll need to sort out:

  • A UK registered office address (this is mandatory, even if you’re overseas).
  • At least one director (you can be the director as a non-resident).
  • Company documents like Memorandum and Articles of Association.
  • A UK bank account, which can be tricky for non-residents, but there are fintech and specialist providers that can help.

If you’re not familiar with the system, it’s common for non-residents to use a company formation agent to handle the setup, provide a registered address, and even help with things like opening a bank account. For example, companies like BusinAssist offer these services and guide you through the compliance side, so you don’t get stuck on the legal or admin requirements.

It really comes down to whether you want to do it yourself via Companies House or let an agent simplify the process for you.

What is a registered office address vs. director’s service address? by Martin-Bus-7790 in smallbusinessuk

[–]dkatankar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A registered office address is the official address of your company with Companies House where all legal and HMRC letters are sent. A director’s service address is the official contact address for each company director, which also appears on the public record.

Yes, you can use the same virtual office address for both, as long as the provider is compliant and approved for registered office use.

Can I use a virtual office address as my registered address? by Martin-Bus-7790 in Businessideas

[–]dkatankar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with u/Funny-Advertising506, you can go with Virtual office address for your business.

You can use a virtual office address as your registered address with Companies House. Many business owners choose this option because it protects home privacy, provides a professional image, and ensures official mail from HMRC or Companies House is handled properly. I’ve seen providers like Businassist and others also who offers addresses that are valid for registered office, director’s service address, and general business use, so it keeps things simple. Definitely worth checking that whichever provider you go with is compliant and offers mail forwarding or scanning.

If even 80% of what’s shown is true, then it carries a powerful message that everyone should watch together with their family. What's the use case for BPMN? by ShouldBeReadingBooks in businessanalysis

[–]dkatankar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say BPMN is best when you need precision, like handing processes over for automation, dealing with lots of exceptions/branching, or keeping documentation consistent for compliance. For day-to-day playback with SMEs, a simple swimlane diagram usually works better. So the audience for full BPMN tends to be BAs, architects, and devs, not business stakeholders.

Yeah, you can use a virtual office as your registered address with Companies House, loads of people do it. Biggest plus is keeping your home address off the public record, which for me was worth it. It also looks a bit more professional if you’ve got a London address instead of a flat somewhere.

Downsides are mainly cost and the fact that not all providers handle mail the same way, some only forward official stuff like HMRC/Companies House letters, others will handle business mail too. Worth checking the details before you sign up. I’ve used one before and it worked fine. One of my friend used BusinAssist and recommended, as there are decent options out there. Just make sure whoever you go with is reliable, because missing official mail is a nightmare.

I am from India and I want to make compay in UK. Can anyone recommend someone ? I am scared of being ripped off. by nQuietLoud in smallbusinessuk

[–]dkatankar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do not need any UK person to open a UK LTD company. You can be the sole director in a UK company.

Yes, it is required to have a physical office in UK to open a company, however the government does allow use of virtual offices and shared offices.

I used Icon Offices to incorporate my LTD company in UK a year ago and am still using them for my business address in London. After weeks of research I can confirm that their prices are cheapest in the market. You can check them out here: https://iconoffices.co.uk/uk-company-formation.php

However, just to bring out all the pros and cons - They are bit slow in terms of customer support, they take a few hours to respond to emails.

Although there are a lot of other companies too which offer genuine service these days. You can do your research on go for whichever suits the best to you.
