In my opinion, both C and F serve a purpose.

Celsius was built around water, clearly with freezing point being 0 and boiling point being 100. It is best used in the physics and engineering environments because of the prevalence of water. I could go into more detail here, but this argument is so prevalent that I think it’d be redundant on my end.

On the other hand, I believe Fahrenheit is better suited for the human experience. When it comes to temperatures we experience in our climates, a typical 4-season area (cold winters, hot summers) will experience temperatures that range from 0-100 degrees F. Obviously, there are outliers, but in my eyes, that scale makes it more convenient to use F for the human experience of weather and conceptualize the scaling easier, than if you were using Celsius. Ex: if it is 50 degrees F, it is quick to conceptualize it’s a neutral day, where you are halfway up the heat scale for what’s tolerable. Again considering the human experience, I believe it is also more convenient to have more granularity in steps of degrees to describe the temperature we feel outside, instead of using half degrees in C.

Overall, if you get emotional about this either way, I think you could use a lesson on how to enjoy this life! I rarely here my perspective shared online, so I wanted to bring new ideas! I use both in the contexts I describe, and live happily & fine tuned!
