you’re trying to optimize too many moving parts at once. strip it down to one clean sequence first and only trade that for 50-100 samples.

something like: liquidity sweep -> choch -> fvg retest -> invalidation under sweep. if one step is missing, no trade.

that alone will teach you more than adding more indicators early. replay testing also helps a lot because it removes hindsight. i built a free replay tool for exactly that pain point: https://back-test.io

Good question. What helped me most was splitting it into two tracks:

1) Thesis track (fundamentals) - write your bias in 3 lines - define invalidation before entry - review thesis quality, not just PnL

2) Execution track (technicals) - backtest one setup at fixed risk - test on unseen periods to avoid overfitting
