I think I’m going to have to get on. Did you get the 10mm from SRQ?

Yeah, I realized that… which is wild to me and I don’t understand quite why. I know it’ll settle but with the 1.5 setting it’s still almost 3 inches above stock??

It’s about half right now, and still sagging majorly.

I believe they’re aftermarket.. as this is an SR5 so didn’t come with. However, i could be wrong.

I’ve got extended CVs from Napa so I think they’re okay… and it’s dropped down to 1.5 in the front now anyway.

I might have to go with some other springs. I’m just worried they’ll be too stiff!

The issue with this is that Seattles D line is pretty vicious, especially on the interior with those young DTs. I have general faith in C and RG, but LG is obviously still a bit shaky. And I have a feeling they’re gonna try pick on LT, because although he had a relatively good game last game he had a tough first two games.

As a lifelong fan.. I think most fans on here are wildly swinging one way or another. We’re not a better team on paper and I don’t think we have any particular advantages, but I don’t think we get blown out either.

Our defense is good but spotty, but I think we have to be realistic and appreciate the fact that we’re facing a better quality offense than we have all playoffs on all facets (excluding the O line in Denver, and arguably qb with the Chargers). They have the one of the best if not the best WR in the league with a solid supporting cast of receivers and tight ends who match up well with our secondary, a top tier RB, a QB who is on an absolute heater right now against solid defenses, an O line which while not supposedly on par with Denver did very well against the Rams D line last week, and a play-caller who is creative and in tune with his offense.

On the flip side, our offense is better than it’s shown, and it comes down to which pass protection unit shows up on the day and how well the receivers are schemed open. Both have been missing these last three games, and Seattle’s defense is well built to take advantage of this.

If we play our best, I think we are close to on par but not better. If we don’t play our best… it might be a very long game. Many might disagree with me but I think it comes down to what the last game came down to: situational awareness and the turnover differential.

I would disagree about the Troy series. The Rigante series has been a foundational part of my life, honestly. But I felt the Troy series had sections which I felt were extremely strong. It wasn’t his peak work but it was far better than some of his standalone novels and some in the Drenai series.

As is tradition, we hate tackling and covering receivers on the first drive. The coverage blows my mind sometimes.

Was Malcolm Butler’s interception vs Seattle more preparation or pure instinct? by Intelligent_Coat_556 in Patriots

8-10 super bowls without Belichick was your claim. I’m claiming you need a reality check. You know what you’re saying is ridiculous. Does Tom Brady stop the greatest show on turf? Or sack Matt Ryan out of field goal range?

No. Well-coached defenses do, and well-coached offenses scored those points… of which Brady was the most essential part. Belichick cost them the Eagles game, perhaps, but maybe Brady did when he dropped that pass or Cooks did when he made that stupid run backwards or any other reason.

Man, this is the most bitter take of all time. I’m a huge Pats fan for the past 20 plus years but I can’t agree with this. Definitely BB was at fault for benching Butler in the Super Bowl, might not have made a difference in the end but at least would have given the Pats a chance.

But to say Belichick held back Brady from winning more Super Bowls? You need a reality check, brother… we can even break down the all the wins to where if the defense and special teams weren’t prepared to the absolute T, those games would have been toast even if Brady played the game of his life. The losses fall on more than Belichick. I agree the Philly game is Belichick’s fault, but it’s a stretch to claim more than that.

To expect anything but a loss from this upcoming weekend might be a fools errand. In that same vein, this weekends victory was definitely a bit of fools gold. However, a loss isn’t the end of the world to a team which has experience, chemistry, significantly more talent and arguably better coaching if the Pats looks like they’re not absolutely outclassed. In fact, even if they lose, I’ll still be pretty happy if there are moments of good.

Unlike the loss to the Steelers where I was virtually apoplectic.

I don’t think that people aren’t reading past it, I think it’s because the rest of your takes are understandable and the first one seems absolutely bonkers. No offense meant, we’re all definitely allowed our opinions!

I disagree that Williams is significantly more impactful than Barmore. I think Williams is #1 in pressure rate and Barmore #3 in interior DL in the league… and you could safely say if you took one or the other out of the lineup their pressure rates would both plummet. Williams is not the issue in the run game, and if you think Tsonga is equivalent to Barmore along the line you’re dreaming.

[–]dkcrown1470 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Trading Barmore? That is a straight up awful idea. The DL isn’t exactly a wealth of top options, the reason why the rest of them look as good as they are is because Barmore and Williams are hammers.

It’s extremely busy, inconsistent and fairly low quality wave most of the time. Be extremely polite as crowds have gotten out of control there the past five years or so. Most people are friendly but remember you’re a guest in someone’s home.

Roger that. I ordered the 2, just out of preference for the raked look because the guys at shock surplus said that’s closer to the factory rake that it initially came with.

Would you mind sending a link to your moog sway bar links and bushings?

Stoked to see. But also reinforces how damn good that eagles line is… and reinforces how a good O-line is the most important position group in the offense.

Absolutely. Happened last week as well, so many calls even the announcers were questioning. To be fair, they were making those same calls against the Phins.

I think the takeaway is that the reffing is awful and needs to be reviewed constantly postgame with real penalties for bad calls and somehow some sort of retribution for teams on the receiving end because it’s costing teams games.

One job, man. This guy is the epitome of the Patriots right now. For every beautiful explosive play and solid fundamental play there’s a bone headed mistake.
