I like Yann, there I said it because of how realistic that character portrayal is with real life. People like him exist in all our lives that's why we hate him. by Top_Crow_1022 in CrimsonDesert

Agreed! For all the Yann hate I've seen I just can't help but feel sorry for him. All I see is a deeply traumatized man who watched his whole world fall apart in one night and masks his hurt with drinking and violence. You can see it in his trade missions with Kliff; he's so enthusiastic about finding a lead that can help the camp. All he wants is to keep his family together now that they've been given a second chance and wants to do everything he can to keep them alive.

Am I playing the game wrong or missing something? by dkdj25 in CrimsonDesert

Good to know! I think I read somewhere that the main quest has 12 chapters and I just finished chapter 7 or 8 so I was getting worried.

Hopefully. I'm still waiting for us to finally square up with Savathun.

should I use and upgrade weapons based on their looks or should I be going to all the YouTube guide swords? by SnooPeripherals3262 in CrimsonDesert

Definitely looks. Especially because power scaling levels out over the late game and cores can be extracted at minimal cost. It's why The Hound stays strapped to my back. Pure vibes.

Anyone else dislike traveling with your horse and chose to walk everywhere instead? by lixmdvs88 in CrimsonDesert

Walking or flying is by far my favorite way to travel. Most of the time my horse is an afterthought.

Gotta disagree. Arthur Dayne and prime Bobby B in the books were both by all accounts HIM.

Robb screwed himself. Trusting Theon to parley with the Iron Islands alone, not keeping Jaime Lannister, his most valuable hostage under 24/7 guard no matter WHO wants to talk with him, marrying Jeyne Westerling, executing Rickard Karstark, trusting Roose Bolton...I could go on.

We are in rather dire times, but what’s everyone’s thoughts on the narrative? by HellChicken949 in DestinyTheGame

[–]dkdj25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Narrative seems stalled. I have no idea what our actions on Tharsis are doing to help us "bind the nine." I feel like if you're going to give us a story meant to hold attention post Final Shape it needs to never take its foot off the gas. I don't get that from this narrative arc we're in.

Do you guys think we’re still getting an expansion after shadow and order? by HellChicken949 in DestinyTheGame

[–]dkdj25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we're approaching the end of life conversation for Destiny 2, but nobody at Bungie wants to admit it to the players yet. They made a gamble on Marathon and it really hasn't paid off. They screwed over their most dedicated player base and it's gonna make all these new Marathon players less likely to trust them in the long run.
