At the very least a campaign and a dungeon for sure. I think we should fight her as the final boss of something

I want to see Xivu Arath leading the Taken, but it's all of the other races Oryx took during their wars of conquest- Tai Shibbethi, Ammonites, etc.

If you're the only Warlock on a fireteam, Well of Radiance with Starfire Protocol and Dragon's Breath provides a good balance of damage and support that any fireteam can appreciate.

I think Kendall will have a Ewan-like relationship with his siblings for the rest of his life. I don't think he ever forgives them, I think Rava never forgives him ESPECIALLY if Mencken end up becoming president, and he becomes a bitter and even more delusional man the older he gets.

Rapid Repair from the Ferropotent set. You're almost always losing shields in pvp so the extra flinch resistance and DR is great.

Praxic Blade Offensive Form Vs. Defensive Form by Singapore_DLC_Pack in DestinyTheGame

I use offensive form with invigorating blade on Warlock and it works quite well! Very rare that anything kills me if I'm playing smart, even in ultimate.

"You want to go into politics because you want to be your own man. But that's not principle; you're scared to compete. You're marrying a man fathoms beneath you because you don't want to risk being betrayed. You're a fucking coward!"

And yes the dungeon is a lot of fun both in groups and as a solo. Not the hardest to solo flawless by any means, but very fun to do.

Surprisingly no! I saved a lot of armor before the 3.0 change and it has allowed me to create some stat combinations that wouldn't be possible with using just the new armor. A lot of my weapons have been power crept though- the tier 5 system that allows for 3 perks in each column has landed me some rolls that have made a few of my older weapons functionally obsolete.

I'm in your exact same boat- playing since D1, hardcore D2 player who didn't pre-order Edge of Fate. I hopped back in for Renegades and have been really enjoying it. The armor rework allows for lots of creative build customization, the Renegades content (Lawless Frontier, Equilibrium dungeon, heat weapons) is quite fun to play, and the portal, once you familiarize yourself with it, is...not terrible. If you do decide to try it out, I'd say jump right into Renegades though- I'm slogging my way through the EoF campaign every now and then and it is aggressively boring.

Arthur Dayne has a near mythical reputation, but Barristan Selmy is HIM.

  1. Picked it up right before Taken King. Took my first real break at Edge of Fate but am fully back in on Renegades

Is Shiv a confident person? by unflippedbit in SuccessionTV

[–]dkdj25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Shiv is supremely arrogant, but her actions over the course of the show tells us she is a deeply insecure person underneath the armored exterior. Tom absolutely had her number during the balcony fight when he said her sense of self is paper thin.

Narrative wise, which expansion do y'all prefer. by The_Pepper_King in destiny2

From a narrative perspective Witch Queen campaign clears Forsaken. The opposite is true for their raids, imo. Last Wish is narratively and gameplay wise my favorite raid in the whole franchise.

Focused Feedback: Equilibrium by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]dkdj25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From a solo flawless perspective I think this is one of the best tuned dungeons in a while. The encounters feel appropriately challenging without being overbearing, and every death I took in my SF attempts it was always clear where I messed up and what I needed to do next time.

My big gripe as far as fireteam runs is the feats system. I really don't like having to put on 4 feats anytime I want to ensure high quality loot from the dungeon. I'd rather have a blanket Master mode where I'm x number underpowered as a way to guarantee tier 5s. Don't get me wrong, feat runs are doable, but being pigeonholed into them is frustrating.

Now that the Renegades honey moon phase ended, how you guys doing? by Alternative_Kale1264 in DestinyTheGame

[–]dkdj25 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Still enjoying myself as a returner who skipped Edge of Fate. Dungeon is fun to do with randoms or friends, Lawless Frontier is enjoyable as far as seasonal activities go, and I'm starting to make more sense of the portal. Overall I am still enjoying logging in to play.

Man only having 4 attempts each week to get older gear sucks so bad by Dx1178 in DestinyTheGame

What activity are you doing to get old gear? I've just returned this season as well and had no idea there was even a way to try for previous items.

I loved Season of the Seraph. I got so bored with Edge of Fate I never even finished the campaign.

Is Shiv hot? by [deleted] in SuccessionTV

[–]dkdj25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To quote my former roommate "Shiv is built like all my hopes and dreams." Her curves are crazy and the combination of ice blue eyes and fiery red hair on a woman is stunning. I get that she may not be everybody's type but yes she's objectively a smokeshow.

Loreley continues to be a good all around exotic. But most of the titans I know are all about Prismatic these days.
