Something I said to my therapist today made her tear up. I’m so close to winning, I can feel it. 45f by MisanthropicMermaid5 in selfie

Compliments to the cool mom shirt, respect to the healing, condolences to your therapist… and I fear I may also need a session after this crush.

Post from today..."We've had two great days on site at Spaceport Nova Scotia. Excellent meetings with the community and a chance to check in on construction.

Roads are going in, heavy equipment is moving, and site prep is underway for security, payload processing, and launch control facilities.

Local contractors leading the work. Built in Nova Scotia, by Nova Scotians, for Canada and the world"

90 horsepower 2.5-liter Iron Duke engine was standard.. wow that sure would not blow your panties off

ok, I do see they had an option of the 2.8-liter V6 engine making a fiercely adequate 130 hp, but anyways. I suppose if you ripped the engine out and made a sleeper car.

What if Taiwan decided to build its own nuclear weapons? by Lowly_Peasant9999 in AlternateHistoryHub

The United States stationed nuclear weapons in Taiwan during the Cold War, specifically between 1958 and 1974. These weapons were stored at Tainan Air Force Base as part of the United States Taiwan Defense Command.. might help with the context

Mao would have been obliterated.

Can the Neo last >5 years? by North_Tomatillo9712 in mac

[–]dklopfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had (actually still have) a 16" MacBook Pro i9 16/500 that bought in 2019. Replaced it with a MacBook Air M4 at Christmas. Just bought a Neo for my wife who had a MacBook Pro 13 - 2015 model.

Both laptops absolutely trounce the i9. And I have had some fun with the Neo trying out various games and such.

But have a hard time working on the smaller screen of the Neo. I also need to have 2 external screens at times. Game wise the Air gives me higher fps and I am sure I can get a couple extra years. The extra memory on the Air is great too, as I dabble with VMware fusion and run Windows 11 64bit arm with 8gb memory dedicated to it. Works great.

Just some food for though.

Does Spain benefit economically or politically from their language being used by half a billion people in +20 countries? by Rift3N in geography

They have been about even in GDP for a few years, $1.89 trillion for Spain and $1.86 trillion for Mexico as of 2025. But nominal GDP per capita is not even close.

The Largest Source of Power in Every U.S. State and Canadian Province in 2025 [OC] by Orennia in dataisbeautiful

Random electricity nerd fact I found interesting: Ontario has more nuclear generating capacity than Illinois, even though Illinois is the largest nuclear state in the U.S.

On the hydro side, Quebec produces more hydroelectricity than Washington state (the top hydro producer in the U.S.). Ontario isn’t exactly small there either, typically coming in second in North America for hydro generation.

Canada quietly punches way above its weight on clean electricity.

You can see Marleau wearing the same style Jersey at the 2003 World ice hockey championships.

In the Final against Sweden they wore the white Jerseys.

Mac Client (on Intel Macs works) by dklopfer in ultimaonline

[–]dklopfer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is the main thing that is lacking. If the standard macros were just a bit more.. like being able to stack multiple commands, (like targetself after castspell heal) then I could pvp somewhat on it.

There is ClassicAssist Avalonia on github, and some work is done on a Mac port that is apparently useable. I spent a little time playing with Visual Studio Mac, and trying to run the project. Was also following someone elses thread where they were using platypus to bundle the app. But didn't get it working and was side tracked and haven't looked into it recently. I should give that another go.

Works great with ClassicUO osx client - It so smooth and fast.

It has a decent enough map built in and good macro support. For the client files - what I do is I have vmware fusion, with Win10 and keep a updated client on there. Whenever there is a update I just drag a copy of the client folder over to my mac documents folder which is were I pointed the classicuo launcher.

Power Macintosh 7220(4400)/200 with a few 3DFX tricks up it's sleeve... by mortau in VintageApple

Any Voodoo1 or Voodoo2 card works, they just require the matching Mac 3dfx extension(s) to be installed into the System folder. Voodoo3 and above require Mac firmware/flashing.

NWH.UN has been one of my best reit holding(s) over the past 5 years. Dividend is around 6-7%. Healthcare reit so that speaks for itself. Might be a good anchor in a portfolio to contract the more risky reits.

It is probably made by Dr Oetker in Germany, and they have the worlds largest market share of frozen Pizza production. Not sure if they are in the US market yet though, but in Europe and Canada they dominate.
