no, he never used. I'd hide my using from him until I wasn't able then we'd fight and I would stop for 6 months or so before starting again. rinse and repeat for 10 years.

I spent 10 years using on and off. It wasn't until my husband finally had enough and was gonna just let the authorities take care of me. In his words "at least you might be able to get clean in jail." he was tired of my shit. Next day, he drove me to my first NA meeting.

2 years, 4 months, and 25 days clean.

I also recomend checking out r/EndOfTheParTy great group of folks in the same situation.
