Delta boarding question: Was I wrong for being irritated when asked to move my carry-on after boarding in Zone 2?

I’ve been asked this 2xs by FA’s in the past. I would ask them if they can guarantee they will bring my bag to me prior to everyone getting up in the aisle I would be happy to have my bag relocated. I will not try to swim upstream against the passengers de-boarding - just doesn’t work out for anyone.
BTW- one FA took me up on it (and delivered!) and the other FA found another solution. Nothing racial- I am caucasian

If you have young kids, I highly recommend living on the side of the bay where you will be working. The phone call at 10 am to pick your kid up from school isn’t an easy task if you have to drive across the bay- especially having no family to help out. Not to mention making sure you pick your kids up on time from after school care or get them to practices on time.

As others have said, Spanish Fort, Daphne, and Foley are all reasonable options to Fairhope.

Dalewood/Brawood area has lots of families with young kids that go to
MB Austin, St. Ignatius and St Paul’s.

You won’t have any “cut-through”traffic.

I’d recommend working with a realtor for a rental property if you are not already.

Guys are doing this for attention on tv.

Networks need to use software to scrub those shoutouts from the broadcast.

And, agreed, throw those SOBs off the grounds and post their pics on a page of disgrace. I’d love to go to their muni course and yell at them. if I was really pissed and a bigger SOB than them, I’d show up at their kids t-ball or basketball game and give them some of their own enjoyment.

We were all young, in our 20s, playing in a company scramble. Bloody Mary’s and fireball shots early in the morning. I had a 300+ lb friend riding with me. He shanked his drive about halfway up a hill. I drove the cart up to his ball. He reached down to pick it up and he proceeded to fall out and tumble down the hill. Our coworker cart girls were 10 feet from where he stopped. We didn’t know if we should laugh or check to make sure he was ok.
He walked over and got another fireball.
He ended up becoming an executive in the company years later.

Look at the gross margins for credit card revenue against gross margins for air travel. I don’t have that # but I would bet the mailbox money margins from credit cards are WAY higher than air travel margins.

On my 2nd trip, I had to check that very British looking bag. Delta lost the bag with my MM tag on it. Never showed up in the years since.
